Hmmm, I don't know what to say...
I didn't play much of Halo 2 multiplayer until the end of its days (2008-April 2010), but when I first really started getting into Xbox Live Halo 3 was in its prime (2008-2009). Since that time, I have never played another Halo game that had the same "magic touch" in terms of multiplayer and overall replayability. To this day, I cannot understand what exactly it is about Halo 3 that still has me coming back for more. The custom games never get old, the Campaign is fun to play inside and out (there are no restrictions at all), and so much more. Halo: Reach and even Halo 4 have not re-achieved that "perfect touch" that Halo 3 had. Sure, there were bad things about Halo 3, but overall it was quite a Legendary game: literally. Halo: Reach and Halo 4 just feel like the same repetitive combat, and for some reason, the lighting in the game isn't as good as Halo 3's. Sometimes, Halo 3 looks more realistic (not most of the time, though). I don't know if any of you know what I mean, but I just have to say I am disappointed by Halo 4 as well. It's still a good game, but not even close to as good as Halo 2 and 3.
