If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Brighten your day with science.

Rap.

Debates are like jaw breakers; you eat away at one layer, only to find another lying beneath. Also, they cause people to choke up and die sometimes. True story.

I like how there's no distinction between true Dubstep and Americanized Dubstep, BRO. Not that Im a purist, or anything- I happen to enjoy both to an extent- but still. :P

OT: Punk, no hesitation. Bunch of whiney, mid-20-somethings still emotionally stuck in High School. No thanks

Ah, someone leaked. Now to find the leak and.... plug it.
With justice.

Dubstep is not a genre it's a sub genera.
EDM is the Genera

All votes for dubstep are void.
also void for electronic due to vagueness

inb4oprages

lets try this again. Seriously like 3 percent of the people in this thread actually have any idea what their talking about.

Trussingdoor is pretty kewl. He fires lasers and doesn't afraid of anything.

MFW OP considers dubstep a separate genre from electronica, but fails to acknowledge funk.

If you honestly, honestly believe that crap is what true punk is, I feel very sorry for you.

I swear to DRUNK, I'm not GOD!

Rap. I can think of no other music genre that has been such a disgusting tool to promote racism and negative stereotypes of minorities in this country.

Dubstep is just popular to hate on and sounds weird sometimes. Get over it.

>americanized dubstep

wat
Dubstep started in the UK in the early 2000's, it sounded very different to how it does now which is primarily the result of the american producers getting hold of it.

Most of Skrillex's stuff isn't actually dubstep related at all, he's only got two or three tracks that you could even call "brostep"

“If we will disbelieve everything, because we cannot certainly know all things, we shall do much what as wisely as he who would not use his legs, but sit still and perish, because he had no wings to fly.” - John Locke

"How can anyone be enlightened? Truth after all is so poorly lit." - Rush

None.

There's validity in any genre. No genre deserves to be deleted. People get too petty in regards to their personal musical preferences, in my view.

GOAT

Either dubstep or electronica..

They're definitely way too different, and neither are that good. Too many bad subgenres too

Watch out. If I post in your thread, chances are it'll die. I've been cursed, and if I kill your thread, I'm sorry.

Why can't it be songs we delete instead of genres? Every genre has a few songs that I like, so I don't really want to delete an entire genre.
