Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.
If I am on public transit, seated and my eyes are open, if I see anyone who is (IMO) more need of my seat and they don't have/can't find one, I offer them mine.
How do I determine if they "need the seat more than I"?
If there were no seats and they and I were standing, who would be having a harder time staying vertical, would be in less pain, and or would have fewer problems with standing.
If it's me that would have an easier time standing, the seat is theirs.
How and why is that so hard for anyone to do in their head? Why wouldn't you? Is the idea of "I got it first" and some sort of rudimentary chimp territorialism that strong in your blood that you can't understand the seats are there for the people who need them more than someone else?
It's a bus, a train for gawdz sake, not your car, not an airliner, you paid for the ride, not a compartment, not a cabin and not a seat. GTFU. U=up.
