Talking about Sweden is an ultrabannable offense.

Too bad being completely and utterly wrong isn't a bannable offense.

Obese people usually don't have self-control. Have you thought of that?

Obese people suddenly growing self-control would be as unlikely as the Flood becoming caring and compassionate people.

You just derailed all of the points in your argument.

Them having no self control is not my problem. Having no self control does not warrant special privileges.

Exactly.

Murderers have no self control. Should I feel bad for them?
Yeah? You shouldn't excuse a murderer but that doesn't give you an excuse to be cruel.

So not giving up my seat to a fat middle aged MAN, is cruel now?

Are you kidding me? ITS A MAN, HES AN ADULT. And he cant even take care of himself. Thats embarrassing.
Not helping people that need it, and downright insulting them to boot, is cruel.

You know most people that are fat are fat because their parents were fat and the gene was just passed on.
This is true.

No it's not. If anything their parents were fat and their sedentary lifestyle and poor eating habits were passed on. Fat gene... hilarious.

Why is it my (a 21 year old) responsibility to help a middle aged adult man, just because he couldnt control his unhealthy habits?

Thats a joke. He should deal with it himself.

I'm 265 pounds. I've got a gut, but I'm also pretty strong. Burly comes to mind.

If you are too fat to stand on a bus for an hour, you need to walk your fat ass around the block a few times a day.

My legs are like tree trunks.

Yes, I am overweight, but I'm not a lazy -blam!- fat sweaty -blam!- who thinks I have a "Disability".

See, and I have nothing wrong with that. I have a problem with the fat people that think the world owes them something and that cry "disability" every five minutes.

^ Fat.

  • 11.29.2012 10:36 AM PDT

So you're telling me that if this person ate healthy and ran everyday for miles he would still be fat because of a "fat gene"

Give me a freakin break. Maybe if he was a little overweight sure, but morbidly obese not a chance

  • 11.29.2012 10:36 AM PDT

NON FACET NOBIS CALCITRARE VESTRUM PERNÇ¢UM

That's kinda of rude of the guys to expect preferential treatment for being overweight, and kinda a -blam!- move the driver kicked you off.

It's your responsibility as an adult to help those who are older than you and can't care for themselves as well as you, no matter if it is a choice or not.

Imagine how much easier and happier life would be if we were courteous to each other...

I agree. If the guy could get in shape and not take up 2 seats, then I'd be able to sit next to him and have a nice conversation.
That's not what I meant and you know it.

it goes both ways.

Why should I have to be courteous to him, if he cant even be courteous to himself?
Then go ahead and treat people like -blam!-, because you're allowed to because you're so fit and healthy and superior.

Stand in doorways. Take money from hobos. Dance around old men.

Those people haven't taken care of themselves, which gives you an excuse to disrespect them!

Actually my excuse to disrespect them, is the first amendment.

How can I take money from hobos? Theyre hobos becuase they dont have money.

You act like Im this terrible person. I dont understand how not wanting to spoon feed adults, and not give them special treatment, makes me a bad person.

Not necessarily. If their parents were fat it's likely they ate a lot and that as a child that person did too. Sure genes have some to do with a persons weight but it doesn't help it if they eat a lot and don't exercise.

It would be your responsibility if you were a caring considerate human being, but it seems like the only sympathy you have is for yourself.

Don't ever do anything to help people.

No its not. Sorry, I feel absolutely ZERO sympathy for fat people.

Now, the elderly and disabled? I'll move a mountain to help them out, especially if its my own grandparents.

You don't have to have sympathy, you just need to not be an ass. Is it really that hard for you not to be mean to strangers for no reason? I guarantee you that the fat guy already feels like crap every day for being fat. Hell, who knows? Maybe he's significantly less fat than he used to be because he's working on it.

It's not a law. It's a responsibility. That's how society works - younger, able-bodied people have a responsibility to take care of those who are older and need help. It's called being an adult.
