Subject: Who here has been under general anesthesia?

It doesn't really bother me. I was out pretty quickly and pretty easily, woke up knowing exactly what was going on and what had happened, and went on like nothing had happened.

The first time for removing my wisdom teeth. I blacked out on certain parts of that day.

I have, although it was only for a simple surgery to remove something from my forehead. It took a while for me to come to after it was over.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

OK, all done. I reacted rather badly this time. The procedure was only 15 minutes, so they used another mix from last time, and no intubation. When I came out I was OK for a few minutes, then I greyed out and had seizures. I don't remember them, but I definitely spooked my wife. So, we won't be using that drug again...

Hey, guys, what's going on in this thread?
Someone tell Kivell that he is a lie.

Yes when I had Tommy John surgery...

And it was awesome! I think I slept for two straight days until it ran completely out of my system.

If you can't trust yourself, then don't trust anyone.

Never.
Not even when they took my wisdom teeth out.

Fixed.

NON FACET NOBIS CALCITRARE VESTRUM PERNĒ¢UM

I didn't mind it, was a bit weird after waking up though. Felt all odd and such.

BTW Elites rule!

And I am probably just trolling you right now....especially if it is a controversial thread

Last time, I took some medicine before hand so I lost memory of what happened right before they put me under. Afterwards, I was on morphine so I truly don't know the effects.

Take me into your heart! Accept me as your savior! Nail me to the -blam!- cross, and let me be reborn!

Mind if I ask what you went in for?

I've only been under for having my Wisdom teeth removed. It was a rather interesting experience, but something I don't wish for to happen again.

The only operation I can think of that goes that quickly is a vasectomy. But I don't think they usually do GA for that.

Charlie: Glad you're okay, hope it "works" this time, whatever it is.

I always go under local anesthetic, unless it is absolutley nessasary to use general. Luckily I haven't had to go under for anything yet.

It was then that I decided he really is like semen(everywhere) and I gave up on life.

i had it when i was younger. even though i knew it was just to put me to sleep it terrified me - but like i said i was younger.

i spaced out a lot after. very dizzy with some amnesia after. i remember the car ride there, going into the hospital, lying on the bed, the mask (and freaking out and staying awake until i thought "-blam!- it, may as well get it over with"), and then boom, i could hardly see, i was confused and couldnt see my family so i panicked, and then i remember being in the car pulling out of the parking lot with my mouth feeling... wierd. not painful, but bleeding and swelling (i was in for removal of teeth. growing weird and painful.)
