I lost respect for Bungie when they told me that I could not ban people back to the stone age when they were mean to me.
Cause then there'd be no community.

>Implying that Micrsoft was the reason for Bungie's lazy attitude towards it's Halo community in Reach's post-launch
If by ruin you mean minor retcon then I'd just call you heavily overreacting.

And yes. Microsoft was DIRECTLY the reason why Bungie's post-Reach support was different. They were slowly taking it away from them to completely transfer it to 343i. They knew any changes they would make would not matter in a short amount of time.

On topic Bungie's earned my respect by being that developer that always does go the extra mile. Ones like them and Valve have that extra dedication to their community and go so far out of their way to interact and get real input from them.

And for that I've stuck with them through the darkness.

I've always had a lot of respect for Bungie, but I've had more respect for them with each new game they've released. I suppose that the more I see them interact with the community, the more I respect them.

I've had very high respect for Bungie since Halo: Combat Evolved in early 2002.
My respect only increases for them with every next game.

Bungie has earned my respect, through the games, the art, the music but also their attitude.

Remember this?.

Some of you will, it was just a cool thing to do.

I never really realised this but Bungie games are the only games that I would buy or preorder without hesitation. I don't do that even with Fallout games or DLC, and I love the Fallout universe.

Only realised this recently..... due to a related video game that has opened my eyes somewhat.

Reach has such a beautiful story, music, and art. The characters are very well developed and thought out. It isn't like they just threw together a game over night... Maybe you should replay the game and take a closer look, hombre.

We should know better, because we are better.

I've always had a deep respect, I mean that most sincere.

Bungie was the only reason I bought an xbox 360, Reach was incredible and Destiny will be the biggest reason I stop playing Halo. 100% respect, I'd used to say SQUENIX but they have died completely to me.

Perfectly exceptable.

OT: I stil have respect for them. It shuddered a bit when I heard they got activation as a publisher, but I got over it. But if they make Destiny even REMOTELY CoD-esque, I'm going to go bat -blam!- crazy.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Bungie have been dark for nearly a year and B.net is still my online home. Does that answer your question?

Cheeto is the only one among you that doesn't suck.

Lost a lot of respect for Bungie after Reach. I liked where they were heading, but to me, it felt halfassed, and it showed. The idea of having "Multiplayer maps in campaign" (which is definitely a lie, and we all know it) was a mistake, and towards the end of the game, everything looked rushed and incomplete.

The game could have been better, and it did do a lot of things right, things that 343i refined and perfected in Halo 4 (and some things they didn't get quite right).

However, I'm willing to look past that, in light of their new IP. With all of the new info on it in the last few days, especially the apparently long running theme of destiny from the days of Marathon all the way through Halo, it looks like they've been pouring themselves into making a grand universe.

Bungie is still on the tier of Valve and a few others, in my opinion, but Reach almost knocked them from that level.
