That's right. I just dropped some AOL IM protocol.

It was all a lie!

Nolan noted that actor Liam Neeson, who starred in "Batman Begins" and briefly in "The Dark Knight Rises" as Ra's al Ghul, was a godsend. "The great thing about Liam is he can sell anything," the director said, before recalling one of the film's earlier scenes between al Ghul (then going by the alias Ducard) and his pupil, Bruce Wayne: "They're sitting by the fire and there's this line I wrote. Liam says, 'Rub your chest. Your arms will take care of themselves.' And I pictured Boy Scouts all over the world freezing to death because I just made up this thing. I don't go camping, I have no idea. And he says it and you believe it!"

Now be honest, who tried this? Or at least believed it?

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

Lol, I bought it. I've never been in danger of hypothermia, though, so no harm done, for me.

If you're gonna make sure something is warm, it's gotta be your core. Not for the same reasons as the movie, but a good idea nonetheless.

It's somewhat true, in that core temperature is essential to survival. However, rubbing ones' arms would certainly mitigate the onset of frostbite and would raise core temperature due to the fact that the effort that went into it would warm one up.
