I think we're just older...

Don't blame your age.

I was 21 when halo reach came out. I Loved it. I'm pretty much the same age now and Halo 4 is garbage.
Wait, you're that old and you're still complaining about games? Get a life.

Ironic seeing as you are posting about his complaint on a video game forum. You should understand like everything in life, there are those that dabble in a given subject and then there are those who are hobbyists. You might as well go tell people who are really into other subjects like cars to go get a life just because they know extensively about what they enjoy.
Ironic, I don't see how, it doesn't take effort to post on a web forum. Also those two hobbies are very different, one takes a lot of devotion, but I still highly doubt being a biased game critic hardly a hobby most can relate to.

I should have specified, it is Ironic you are complaining about his complaining about a game on a game forum. I don't agree that two hobbies such as cars and video games are very different. They both have their levels of devotion, the proof lies in ignorant car casuals like ricer kids and muscle punks, highly different from true dedicated auto enthusiasts. Now for the criticism comment, hobbyist speak out all the time about what they feel is an inferior product. Hell we all do it to an extent if we are not satisfied with a given product in any subject. Now I will admit I am playing devil's advocate here because yes, the OP is a little incoherent with his thoughts and argument but I see what he is getting at and you are generalizing a bit too much.

What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

I agree OP and what made it awful for me was the repetitive gameplay and in gameplay I mean run to one side of the map, press a button, run to the other side of the map, press a button, fight back to middle, activate switch. Sure, each Halo game had about a total of 1-2 of these missions but not every damn level, Halo 4's campaign was just extremely lackluster.

Also the enemies seemed to be more bullet-eaters than real challenge. I just ran out of ammo and had to hold on shoot until the enemy finally died. Can't really explain it but the enemies aren't fun to fight.

I think it won the competition against Reach with, who has the most buttons to press.

Why don't you go write a book about it, OP?
