Only out of those two, which would you recommend and why?

I use Firefox but I hear Chrome is smoother and faster. Getting a new PC very soon so I'm looking for feedback for a fresh web browser start.

Music Enthusiast. I adore all genres of music, even the ones you don't like, Subway is -blam!- amazing, and this is the greatest song ever created by one man IMO.
If I like you enough, I'll mail you a Subway Sandwich. If I hate you, expect a -blam!- nuke.

Most might be against Chrome on here. Something about it being a Botnet, or spyware or something.

I expect Firefox will do just fine.

I got these cheeseburgers man....

Nightly(AKA, the pre-alpha version of Firefox). There's rarely any bugs, so there's no excuse to not use it.

Firefox is nice, but Chrome has so much more integration if you have a gmail and all that. I just like it a lot more, it really does come down to personal opinion with both browsers being pretty much the same speed.

My troll sense is tingling.

Chrome for forums, Firefox for videos.

Netscape. Definitely Netscape.

Hope Rides Alone

Chrome, Firefox has too many random problems, from not loading pages unless you move the mouse to youtube just plain old not loading videos and nobody knows what the goddamn hell to do.

NON FACET NOBIS CALCITRARE VESTRUM PERNĒ¢UM

I like Firefox, but I'm not wicked computer savvy. So in all honesty, it might not be the best browser, but it's pretty good.

second i do not find it physically possible for a PERSON to be a ice cream truck.

I sure everyone here knows what I prefer by now, but still in case you don't, Firefox. Ignoring my hate for Google, Firefox can be set up to way more secure than other browsers. NoScript, AdBlock Plus, and several other add ons can be used to make your browser a tank.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Firefox is best, and I've tried both.

I use Comodo Dragon, which is basically a spinoff of Chromium/Chrome, minus the tracking stuff.

All of those extensions exist for Chrome, IE, and Safari. Better prepare a better argument!
There is a NoScript equivalent for other browsers? Also, AdBlock isn't as good in Chrome, it technically just hides the ads, not block them.

Also, RequestPolicy, BetterPrivacy, Cookie Monster, and RefControl. How many of these add ons are there for other browsers?

Neither!!! ^___^

Safari works best on my grandmother's internet and IE9 on my laptop.

Chrome is perceivably faster in my experience, although I'm sure both browsers have advantages over each other. I prefer Chrome for its minimalist interface, its Omnibar, and its integration with your Google account.

Its really all about your needs and preferences as a user. That being said, I vouch for Chrome.

Agreed. 'Cross-device' browsing via Google account sync is great. I can view my history/tabs/bookmarks from any computer/device.
