I want to make some dubstep and I just can't find anything decent to work with. What programs should I use?

I don't play "hide-and-seek", I play "hide-and-hope-I-don't-find-you."

I make house, not dubstep. I cringe at the word.

You should try this out. It's not software, but it should do the trick.

Ya. My last song had everything in it. I basically banged on some pots, rattled a keychain, pulled my cats tail, honked my car horn, made a scratching noise with velcro and mushed it all together.

Congrats. That's called "found music", similar to found art.

It's just too easy.

I can understand the draw of 'dubstep' and appreciate its dance centric style, but I can't get into it. When I'm listening to music I want to hear instruments, not computer generated sounds. IMO, the medium cannot compare musically to a physical instrument.

If it's so easy how about you go and become famous and make millions?

Live a little.

PyroSnip3 - Xbox Live Gamertag

It's actually pretty hard, the hardest of all is learning the program and learning the keys and how to create the dubstep effect. Even though anybody can make it, to make it into a melody and an actual song combined with lyrics is actually a great deal of work, possibly more work than creating an acoustic folk song. Plus some people like to hear the "new" digital/electronic genre as that could be what they grew up in. Just like 80's kids grew up in grunge.

That Deadmau5 guy said anyone with any tech experience could run his show after an hour of instruction.

He should start doing gigs all over the world at different places at once, just train some other Deadmau5 guys to push a couple buttons and nod their heads.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

Hold on...let me get my old dial-up modem and a tape recorder...

At least I didn't get kil-

I came in here to make a joke about how I smacked a keyboard for a few minutes and called it dubstep, but some people beat me to it.

I'm sad now.
