Since we are less than a month away from Christmas do you use a real or artificial tree?

Personally, I always get a real tree preferably a blue spruce.

GOAT

We had a real tree one year and I loved it.

I would love to get another.

Inappropriate. Went a little to far with the butt hole tearing.

Real is always better, imo.

Real. That smell.

real tree every year

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Fake tree.

I'm not a big fan of wasting money every year. Plus, it feels good to pull it out and set it up.

I understand a real tree smells nice and is authentic. Doesn't underweight the fact that it sheds everywhere and you have to constantly water it. Plus, hanging the ornaments is significantly harder on real trees. Cost is also a concern.

artificial. gotta go green man!

I prefer artificial. It last longer is less maintenance, and you don't have to worry about dumping it,etc.

Artificial. I could always get some pine air freshener. Plus I don't have to deal with the mess of a real tree.

  • 11.29.2012 7:58 PM PDT

I prefer real. Not just the tree itself, but the whole experience of taking the family out, having a meal, then finding the perfect tree together. We make a whole night out of it and I enjoy the time as a family.

This. I loved as a kid going with the family to pick out a tree.

I still enjoy doing that now, even though I'm older.

Same. Sadly this year I wasn't part of the choosing the tree. :(

My family's always gotten a real tree. I hope we don't switch to artificial ones.

In that case, I found something else you might like. It lasts longer than the real thing, and you don't need to feed it or clean up after it.
