Subject: Real Tree or Artificial

I know everything, I've just forgotten most of it.

Also, my XBL Gamertag is 'Wenggh', not 'A Stolen Fruit'.

Real trees are the best trees.

I prefer real. Not just the tree itself, but the whole experience of taking the family out, having a meal, then finding the perfect tree together. We make a whole night out of it and I enjoy the time as a family.

This. I loved as a kid going with the family to pick out a tree.

I still enjoy doing that now, even though I'm older.

Same. Sadly this year I wasn't part of the choosing the tree. :(

You already have your tree? That's early, brah.

I know.

Real trees cannot defy physics.

I wish I had a tree like that.

OT: Fake for health reasons.

Artificial is winning.

You guy are awful.

Practicality > Tradition
In that case, I found something else you might like. It lasts longer than the real thing, and you don't need to feed it or clean up after it.
I hope you're not serious.

OT: Artificial. There's no mess and you don't have to waste any money.

Scrooge or not Christian?
Both?

I just don't do Christmas. Was never a big thing while I was growing up.

My fiance celebrates it though. I made him a wreath.

lol, good one. Unfortunately, a stuffed animal will not run with me to the park, will not retrieved tennis balls, will not play in the snow, will not come to me on it's own, will not decide to comfort me, will not be derpy. Shall I go on?

Real cut one down every year.

I'm sure I could find some absurdly expensive robot dog that can do some of those things (probably even more in some decades), but this is starting to go off on a weird tangent.

For all questions with answers unknown to you, the proper procedure is to assume the answer is peanut butter.

While that may be true, I'm just going to pretend otherwise.

Artificial. I'm not allergic to it.

Small Community, Lots of Fun. We do Halo, Minecraft, and much more.

Dat Real tree. The smell, the adventure of picking it out. I don't buy it so I can understand the cost portion. Watering isn't a big deal, and the needles and be swept up with a vacuum.

i have played all the halo games possible. and i love to forge in halo reach. i am on b.net almost everyday for the past year and half and i hope to keep going with my halo spirit.

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

We usually have a real tree

But I personally don't care which

Artificial. Lasts usually 7 years+, can light it once at be fine, no mess, no tree to dispose, cats aren't as tempted to climb it at 30mph.

Man's tree is a real tree.

The fresh smell of pine is invigorating

I agree, even though I've never experienced it for myself yet. My family always uses one of those artificial ones.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

A fake tree.
It is just easier to manage, though I would like to get a real one someday.

If I got to make the decision for my household, we would have a real tree every year.

  • 11.30.2012 9:10 AM PDT

I'd rather not have any tree in my house. But my parents still put up an artificial tree.

Real. That smell.

This!

  • 11.30.2012 9:12 AM PDT

Per Audacia Ad Astra

I like the smell of a real tree, but showing respect for plant life I use an artificial tree.

  • 11.30.2012 9:12 AM PDT

Real. Artificial is so ghetto.

  • 11.30.2012 9:13 AM PDT

The world is full of mysteries, and shares too few of the answers required. An example of which, is how did I end up in the Brute Zone?

I have an artificial tree, in my area of the UK we don't seem to get many real trees, jsut artificial. Although I would love to have a real one.
