I sat on the couch, alone. The lights were dim, the tv a bit too loud. I didn't care. I knew i just had to have that bag of lays resting on the coffee table. It was unopened, just like i left it this morning. I would have taken it to work but i decided to wait. God the waiting. Through breakfast and lunch i held it. Held it as long as i could. A few times it almost got away. Especially since it was taco day.

I have to say it is all worth it. I pulled myself up from the cushions, it isn't easy. I stretch out my arm and... there a firm hand on the bag. With a quick movement i pull the bag to my chest nearly popping the seal.

I massage the bag, just for fun. It crinkles. I smile.

I place both of my hands at the top of the bag and pinch it. The bag crinkles once again. With the few energy i have I pull my hands in opposite directions.

The bag resists but i keep at it. Slowly stretching it to the point of no return. I continue. The bag hisses and opens up. The rush of salted snacks hits my nose and I am heaven. My mouth waters and my jaws knows whats coming.

Wait. I plunge my face into the opening, hoping to inhale even more of the familiar smell. I am in ecstasy.

I look inside. I smile again. My favorite part.

I shove my whole hand in. I cannot help myself.

I wiggle my fingers around, hoping to get a good one. I do.

I pull out.

In my salt covered fingers is a chip. Not too big or small. Just the right size. It looks as though it was kissed by the golden sun itself.

My mouth waters. I need it. Now.

My body, my mind, and also my stomach shiver.

Eat me. I think i hear the chip say.

I don't hold back. I bite twice.

Savoring the salty and crisp chip I taste the potato.

Eat me! The bag yells.

Suddenly my mind goes blank. I devour the chips by the handful. Crumbs and flints go everywhere. I won't leave any left. Soon i look up suddenly exhausted, at my side.

I finished the whole bag. I am satisfied.

I lick the salt reside around my lips.

I am thirsty.

I smile.

Only perhaps the best story ever.

Quote from Confucius

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

Wow the flood has further destroyed my impressions of it

It takes you that long to eat one chip?

I'm going to invade your heart like a barn swallow high on milk chocolate and grandma love.

Fairness is only possible within the limited powers of man. Elsewhere, there is only chance.

Thus I refute thee.

I just peed a little.

Just work on the grammar a little bit, and it will be worthy of a whole book saga.
