In the way of part of the new Germany was Poland so Hitler and Stalin took it over so Germany could grow.

What.

Uh...yeah sure, because every other game published by Activision is a COD-clone.

And Activision gave Bungie complete creative control.

Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.

This just in: Destiny includes weapons that can fire through walls and will involve defending at least one American city from invasion by a fictional Eurasian superpower.

I cannot allow myself to believe this will happen.

Bungie is the final citadel safe from the CoD homogenizing assault.

After the loss of Halo, our hearts were wracked with grief.
But be patient, and see that Bungie will reward us for our patience.

Hi! How you doin'?

Sometimes, all you need are a couple giant explosions to get you through the day.

I would assume that Bungie's old enough that Activision wouldn't be so insecure with trusting them to run themselves that they'd railroad the original gameplay design with some CoD spinoff.

It'll most certainly have load outs and perks.

I am a penguin. Every day I boogie on down to the water, and eat fish. Once, while fishing in the deepest depths, I saw great Cthulhu... And he said to me "Shine, to thine own self be true. They can't tell you what to do once you've gone guru." Also, I should tell you, "slide".

You realize that, because you're sputtering this out without any actual information (unless you're a secret Bungie employee, which is roughly as probable as Big Foot deciding to come out on Good Morning America, and coming out) that, even if the game comes out and has loadouts and/ or perks, you'd still not be validated, and will still look like a fool for making any assumption at all?

Do you realize that?

Do you?

Because... I don't think you do.

Has it even been confirmed as an FPS?

Remember those times when we all had something better to be doing, but didn't do it? Those were good times. Gooood times

Has it even been confirmed as an FPS?

Hell it hasn't even been confirmed anything... Though speculation points towards an MMORPG

Quod Erat Demonstrandum.

If you're interested in Halo's music, check this out.

Speaking of chuckles, let's all lol at IonicPaul, who makes friends with bugs to make up for his lack of human contact.

Why do you all forget how Bungie said "Activision has no creative influence and will simply be publishing the games"?

Is that such a hard thing to remember?

If I ever get AIDS, I'm going to sleep with another AIDS person so my AIDS cancel each other out, or I'm going to make the AIDS I already have worse.

Not really, Activision has enough money that they don't force garbage ideas down developers throats to sell more like EA, look at GTA V it looks greatly improved and Rockstar was bought by Activision last year.

That's what I thought, it could be anything.

It's like a retard riding a bicycle while eating hot wings.
Sometimes you have to take the bike seat off to really enjoy it.

If it's not Shadowrun 2 I don't really care what they make.
Also Blizzard got sued for breaking contract with Activision. Not sure about the details but yeah. Expect to see Bungie doing it soon too.

Butt ugly ape” remarked Sergeant Johnson always making fun out of the situation even though he had been hit by a spiker round in the arm. He mustered up the strength to continue and the team moved on. The Arbiter informed him that the next room held The Prophet of Truth and this was the final room before extraction. Jun proposed that he takes a shot from a distance the prophet and they all head back to the ship bay for extraction. The team agreed on this and breached the last door…

Bungie won't let that happen. Hopefully

So what you are saying is, It's going to be Bungie-making a Borderlands game?
I would spontaneously combust if this were to happen.

The Universe demands to be noticed, to be seen, and dutifully noted.

What use all those incredible firework dimensions if no eye fixes and reflects, no brain takes notes, no heart moves with passion at the display?

NASA answers the silent cry of the Cosmos for recognition.

NASA is the witness and we fellow witnesses to the endless deeps.

Bungie aren't mentally incompetent. Following what happened with Microsoft, they're sure to have stipulations preventing a similar scenario from happening again.

They call me graland.

No. Please don't start this crap.

Activision has zero creative control over what Bungie does, and even if they did they wouldn't want to CoD-ify it because that would compete with CoD. The idea is to compete with games from other publishers, not yourself.

  • 11.30.2012 5:33 AM PDT

A competitive players main goal is to win.
A casuals main goal is to have fun regardless of whether that results in a win or loss.
It has nothing to do with individual skill or knowledge, it has to do with the reason you play.

I thought Bungie had complete creative control?

Fair play

I believe that I've heard somewhere that Activision has no say in Bungie's games.

And so it begins.....
The end of variety in FPS gaming.
It's not even known whether Destiny will even be an FPS.
