Well, my brother and I usually share Xbox's together and we did with the Xbox 360 Elite. However, I just got me the Xbox 360 Slim just a couple of weeks ago and I'm just wondering: Can I transfer all my old game saves, DLC packs, and just about everything on my new Xbox 360 Slim? I've already played some games on my Xbox 360 Slim, but if I transfer the old Xbox 360 Hard Drive to the new one (Xbox 360 Slim), it won't delete my game saves on my Xbox 360 Slim? Because I've been playing some games on my Xbox 360 Slim as of lately. So yeah.

You need a transfer cable. I got mine from Best Buy, but i think you can get them anywhere that sells games. I don't think it would affect your current saves.

It looks like this.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

Everything will transfer, but you'll want to do a license transfer on your new console so you can play all of your DLC. You 'll also want to get a transfer cable if you want to transfer the content to the new hardrive.

License transfer? How do you do that?

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

Pretty sure as long as your signed into your account it gives you the option to 'download again' your dlc. Ive recovered my gamertag on my friends console and re-downloaded stuff.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I got one from GameStop. It just takes a couple minutes, but I don't know about current saves. Costs about $20.

You don't HAVE to do a license transfer you just have to be connected to XBL and on the account you downloaded the content with to use it and others can use the DLC too but your account just needs to be online on the console.

If you can't find a transfer cable, a simple Jump Drive should suffice.

A transfer cable is the optimal solution but copying files to a flash drive then copying them to the new HD should work, it is just a lot longer process.
