Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

It has "space" so that "objects" have some-where to exist.
It has "time" so that there is some-when for "energy" to cause those various "objects" to interact and events can occur.

Tada! Spacetime and relativity in two sentences without exceeding 3 syllables, a whiteboard, waving my arms, CG or Hubble backdrops or using the terms millions/billions/or trillions as multiples of each other.

Let's see if I can deconstruct it farther.

No space, no matter. No time, no energy, no events.

Wohooo! only 2 syllable words and 10 total! I rule!

Yes but why space, time and objects. That's the real question.
You basically just said that things exist, and if they didn't exist, they don't exist. It's a nonsensical statement.

Spacetime and matter/energy. Take away any one of the four and existence (as we understand it) doesn't exist, or cannot be proven/measured.

Without energy, it wouldn't matter if there were time and space or even matter. Nothing would happen, there would be no way to know that anything existed, and since nothing could occur, would it exist?

Without matter, nothing but energy existing in space and time, there would be "nothing" to occur again. No method to measure the space, no events to clock off in time, again, if it existed, how could that be proven?

matter/energy requires spacetime in order to occur/exist. Spacetime without any matter OR energy (which are really the same thing) cannot be measured since there is nothing to measure with or against.

“Dear humanity, we regret being alien bastards. We regret coming to Earth. And we most definitely regret that the corps just blew up our raggedy ass fleet!” -Sgt. Johnson

Not everything needs a purpose, it just is.

ooga booga boooh

I would like to entertain myself with the idea that the universe has a purpose. Do I, or anyone of you definitively know what it is? Naw, and I don't think we ever will, or should. I like guessing games.

We're very young, inquisitive species, our questions are bold, but they're way beyond us. We're not in conformity with one another about anything, and to attest that the universe has no purpose is outrageous to me. I just say we don't know.

That is like asking if a mountain or a river has a purpose. Both of them are created naturally and can cause somethings to happen, but they were not designed to do so.

You don't get it son. This isn't a mud hole, it's an operating table. And I'm the surgeon.

No one knows why the universe exists. And it is sheer arrogance in the highest level to believe you have the truth behind it all be it science or religion.

you did not watch the video linked. if so you would know that your argument is invalid. and if you did watch it, watch it again lol and see if you can understand why this argument is null/void
