*Recycled Spartan Ops maps.
-Two Betrayals is Assault on the Control Room played backwards.
-Coagulation is based on Blood Gulch.
-For Reach the non forge world default MP maps are areas that got built into the campaign. And the firefight maps are areas from the campaign.
So Bungie was no better.
I'm talking more about how the same Spartan Ops maps are used over and over again episode after episode. I honestly have no problem with 343i using campaign areas and multiplayer maps in Spartan Ops, but it's a bit more egregious for them to use the same five or six areas over and over again and try to pass them off as different locations. That just doesn't work. Everybody sees through that.
Coagulation was a re-make, and besides, the fans asked for it. Reach recycled areas from the campaign in Firefight and multiplayer but like I said, that doesn't bother me too much. It's the fact that the same areas are being used over and over again that gets to me. It smacks of laziness and it's nowhere near what we were promised by 343i. ("An entire second campaign unto itself," my ass.)
So the recycled Halo CE environments are your only legitimate counter to my criticism. Everyone knows that only happened because Bungie had less than a year to build CE's campaign anyway.
