What is your reaction in the next millisecond? Do you cry? Do you rage? Do you cry and laugh at the same time? It's a well known fact that stubbing a toe is more painful than pregnancy, just behind stepping on a Lego brick. However, it doesn't garner the same reaction from people. Some people are infuriated when they stub their toe, and proceed to kick the nearest object. Others burst into tears and become a blubbering wreck.
I have stubbed my toe many times, however nothing has been more painful than the Great Stubbing of 2010. I was a 14 year old lad, hormones running riot, so I would get overemotional at some points. But this was not the case here. Walking into the kitchen, I slipped on the wet floor, keeping upright but in turn slamming my little toe on my right foot into the corner of the wall.
Then came the horror.
I slumped onto the ground, red-faced, and pulled off my sock carefully to see the extent of this excruciating pain. I noticed it was sticking to the toe that was hit, and as it came off, I noticed it was bleeding.
And then, a skeleton popped out.
But enough from me, now. I want you to discuss horrific pains inflicted in the household. Ones that don't leave you seriously injured, but that leave you scarred for the next 30 seconds.
Discuss regular household pains and your general reactions.
