Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

100th post.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Piloting an amazing starship is a fantastic recent perk.

Ahhhh, yes. I'll tell that story next week, Bungie Community. Promise.

Anyone catch that?

More juicy info on the way?

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

I want to journey into space because simply, and irrefutably: I want to experience the vast expanse and majesty of the universe in it's rawest form.

Generations upon generations of people have looked up toward the starry night sky and thought, "I want to go there." Whether our origins lie in intelligent design, or the notion that we are simply products of a cosmic coincidence are to be proven true - all humans, regardless of belief, are drawn towards infinity.

The minuscule specks of dust that spread throughout our sky no doubt harbor amazing, spectacular things. To be bestowed the honour and privilege to travel there - hand in hand with the divine - would be to the envy of all others who dream the same.

Once again, simply and irrefutably; to journey into space and to slip the surly bonds of our Earth would be to carry the torch of all mankind. To live the dreams of a thousand generations.

Sure of my worthiness, I am certainly not. But given the opportunity I would undoubtedly try.

I want to journey into space because... I want to find Master Chief and Cortana and wake up Chief so he can take back what is rightfully his: Bungie!

Life is like a clogged toilet. It's full of crap until you do something about it.

I don't speak Karate!

I want to journey into space because Kerbal Space program, being one of the coolest games ever created, intensely intrigues my internal organs to the point where my liver hath begun to burn, and my soul hath screamed unto the skies "Why dost thou mock me, O great and powerful Jebediah Kerman?" despite my inability to properly enjoy even a snippet of the compassionately provided complimentary snapshot due to my Linux addiction.

Also, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that the picture challenge they gave us is actually the name of that walking tank thing in the other leak they sent out.

I want to journey into space because it seems like that is what people are doing now-a-days. I just want to fit in.

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

I want to journey into space because every time I travel farther away from home, I learn more about myself and the rest of the world. If I journey into space I'll learn about the universe.

I want to journey into space because I want to defend humanity. I want to defend humanity against the phor and the covenant. Make a stand for our way of life, discover untold secrets of the almighty forerunners.

I want to reach my destiny.

If memory serves, DeeJ mentioned recently that they build a spaceship during lunch and he was going to tell us all about it, this is probably a reference to that.

I want to journey into space because I want to be a malevolent yelling tyrant hosting intelligent, capricious, mildly entertained men boorishly evincing rank, then my life will be complete. I mean c'mon that blue bar is pretty badass and you have to admit, that get-together would be mythic.

"I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle- victorious"

I want to journey into space because it's my Destiny. Also, I want to experience the wonders of the universe. Words cannot describe the mythical jewels that float across the far expanses of the black ocean. A mere sighting of these jewels would provide me an insight into the fabric of the universe. The knowledge that I would attain from such a pilgrimage would benefit humanity and the home that we live on- Earth.

Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

I want to journey into space because....well actually I don't, I prefer to have my feet firmly planted on Earth.

Key

I want to journey into space because, despite my unyielding fear that something would go wrong, or my life that I may or may not be leaving behind, or the general normalcy that is space travel in this day and age, to be so high up in the sky that up ceases to be up and down ceases to be down, that the only thing surrounding me on almost all sides is the eternal blackness of nonexistance pockmarked with the never-ending brightness of hope, that I've gone to a place that was shrouded in mysticism and unattainability for thousands of years, and that I've reached a goal some thought could only be reached in dreams would be so immensely fulfilling and awe-inspiring; I'd even settle for low orbit.

Are you talking about the Star Trek movie? Because that was just plain dreadful.
