Life is like a clogged toilet. It's full of crap until you do something about it.

You need to be humble about your success. There's a time and place for displaying your achievements, but a casual social gathering is not the place.
I get that much. I suppose that the flood isn't the best place either. Maybe I should re-title this thread as "Hey guys. Will you believe my ludicrously high test scores that may or may not be total fabrications?!"
Not sure what you're trying to say here, but whatever.
Anywhere OP, onto their choice of language. I'm assuming that "-blam-" is the term referencing some members of the LGBT community?
That word has grown to an entirely new meaning. When kids use it these days, they don't even stop to think about who they are insulting. The word has evolved to mean anything unfavorable; the people using the word often aren't event thinking about the LGBT community when they say it.
A lot of people use that word as an insult off-hand; and then when you ask them about LGBT rights, they are in favor of LGBT rights. It's a very, very odd evolution of the word.
I suppose I could have been more clear there. I meant that I was being rude, but I perceived them as being beyond that. I felt like it was more directed at my interests than my aptitude.
"-blam!-" does indeed mean that. The male version, specifically.
Yes, but I am asking more about why I was derided, and why these attempts at humiliation happened in the first place than how people insult each other.
As for -blam!- rights, that's a totally different monster that I probably don't want discussed here.
