Subject: Ask a former U.S. Army Ranger Anything!

Kind of...

I'm interviewing a former Ranger tomorrow for a paper and I need help coming up with good questions to ask him! I have some of my own I came up with but I want to get an outside opinion. If you guys want, I'll post some of the answers tomorrow.

So ask away?

Nahman Jayden, Eff bee eye. I herd that you're the origammy killah...

Ask how he did on the last exercise in training and if he fell asleep during the final meeting before becoming a ranger.

Ranger training is killer.

  • 11.30.2012 5:37 PM PDT

No such thing as former ranger. You either are or aren't.

  • 11.30.2012 5:38 PM PDT

Hdawger, the wizard of the mountains.

Ask him something like "WHAT ARE THE NUMBERS MASON?!" or just ask him about how his archery skills are and what his most successful dungeon run was.

I already have "what was the most difficult part of Ranger school?" and if he had a "favorite thing" about going to ranger school.

Seriously, why are you impersonating the Ranger when you;re interviewing him tomorrow?

Misleading..

Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"

"How many times did you fap during deployment?"

"Do you even lift?"

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

How has your perspective changed on American life versus life in warzones? How did your time in service effect your political views?
Would you reenlist if you were 18 again?
With the knowledge you have now, would you have chosen a different branch?
What're some differences between corporate America chains of command and military chains of command and their relative levels of efficiency in certain aspects?
Do you think the call of duty (not the game, obviously) has changed since you enlisted/retired?

Ask then about how his first impressions were.

Nothing. I talk to them all the time.

Don't ask him if he has ever killed anyone. The most disrespectful question you can ask anyone in the military.
