Flood, Before logging into this site to share my horrifying experience with you I took some caffeine pills along with a monster energy drink, I'm not sleeping tonight, The only thing that kept me calm throughout this experience was the ativan I had earlier this evening.
Recently I brought Black Ops 2 and Halo 4, I guess they were pretty fun but I realized I'm not a gamer anymore, I spent a lot of time on YouTube and found some nostalgic videos of Pokémon Red and Blue, After playing the emulated versions of the games I thought it would be fun to buy them for real, I brought a Gameboy Advance, Pokemon gold and Yellow, I replaced the save batteries in both even the the CR2025 barely fit the yellow cartridge.
I guess I wanted to play these games because my nan passed away and one of my happiest memories of her is when she brought me Pokémon yellow for my birthday, I also brought an action replay device identical to this one. I had already completed these games dozens of times so why not?
My trusted battery brand is Duracell, So I went out and brought a 24 pack of Duracell AA batteries for £14 to power the GBA, While I was out I decided to check out the retro game store up the road, To my suprise they had all the Pokémon games and on top of that a sign read "all Pokémon games come with new batteries", I brought red and blue and left the shop a very happy customer, Before I set off in the car I decided to check out the games, They already had saves on them even though the batteries had been replaced? I just figured they had some transfer device and left it at that, The red game had a player called Isaac and I think he was a brony because his Pokémon all had MLP nicknames, The blue game was still at the beginning of the game, It only had charmander and a metapod so I figured I'd start a new game.
After getting to nugget bridge around 2hrs into the game, I thought it would be a good idea to test out the action replay I brought, I'd never used one before and it took me a while to figure it all out, It was second hand and it did not come with a manual or anything, I couldn't find much on the internet either, I decided to call it a day and fell asleep.
The next day was a regular day, Went to the shop, Stocked up on snacks ect., I'm an insomniac so I don't sleep much at night so tonight after watching The Beach Boys on BBC Four, I switched on my bedside light and turned on the Action Replay, I played with headphones in, I always have headphones in for some reason, Even when I watch TV, After a few frustrating minutes I finally navigated myself to the POKÉMON R / B section of cheats, To my surprise the previous owned of the Action Replay must of been a weirdo as all the codes said "DEATH" followed by a star icon, Due to the ativan I took I was feeling kinda numb so I just went for it.
I beat nugget bridge eventually still wondering what the "cheat" was supposed to do, I turned the switch to the ON position and see if it made a difference, It did, Believe me.
I walked around in "tall grass" and the usual battle encounter scene played and the game froze, I press some buttons in confusion when blasted through my headphones is the most dreadful scream I have ever heard, There was something on the screen, I didn't shine the light directly onto it but it looked scary, I turned it off, I'm going to set fire to it in the morning, I wont feel peaceful until it is out my life.
I want answers how can that even happen? Surely someone must of heard of this before, I checked the creepypasta sites and found other Pokémon stories but none the same as this, Please flood, I'm really scared right now, I'm almost crying.
Sorry for my typing mistakes I'm just really terrified right now.
