The Flood Theory of Deterioration: q(p)=(qi)e^(-p/r)
Where q(p) is the quality of the thread as a function of p posts, (qi) is the inital quality of the first post, p is the amount of posts and r is the e-peen of the original poster.

I never had much issue with women in high school or college. I was an attractive, intelligent guy that also played a few sports. I wasn't exceptionally outgoing, but decently enough.
I found out in grade 12, somewhat randomly, that there were quite a few girls that liked me, but were intimidated by how intelligent I am.
I hate when that happens... I was interested in a girl who was nuts for me, but she was nervous and thought I was just too smart and spoke "big words". lol.
Women are weird.
How I found out about it was just random. We had several fundraisers for our grad ceremonies. A gift wrap at the mall, bottle drives, stuff like that. I can't wrap presents to save my life, so I didn't do the gift wrap. I did bottle drives all the time for the soccer teams I was on, so I didn't want to do that either. So I helped chop wood to sell to people. One of the times I was there, it was me, my step-dad, a girl named Desirae and her dad. We were all just talking and joking while we were working. Then she just looks at me and says, "Wow, you're just like a pretty normal guy most of the time aren't you?"
I said, "Yeah... wait where did that come from?"
Her response was, "Well I know quite a few girls that like you, but thought you were too smart for them and they wouldn't be able to carry a conversation with you."
If I hadn't had a girlfriend already I would have definitely tried to hook up with some of them. Also she wouldn't tell me who they were, so that made it a bit difficult.
