Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"

-If it's a series I like I buy it.
-If it's a random game buy. I go by the cover and the back images.

It depends on the type of game it is. But I will also watch the trailers of the game, and determine if I will buy it or not.

Gameplay, trailer, buy.

  • 12.01.2012 6:38 AM PDT

I think most of the games I have preordered are sequels so I just base it off how much I liked the previous ones and if they added a significant amount of new things. But if its new Ill buy it if it looks revolutionary and fun to play.

For those who wish to contact me on Xbox LIVE, my main account is "The 7th Taco", and the one linked with my profile here is only a backup.

Trailers, Reviews, Gameplays, etc.

I usually look at the development team. Sometimes trailers for stuff from new teams.

I rent it from gamefly. If I like it I buy it for 50 bucks and they ship the box and manual for free and don't charge tax. So that's 15 bucks of my 20 dollar monthly charge for the service. If I buy 2 games a month it's like getting the service free and saving 10 bucks.

Yeah I love gamefly.

"Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone." - Colossians 4:6

It's a two step process.
1 - Does story look interesting? 'Cause if developer can't come up with a good story, I don't put much faith in their ability to come up with anything else that's good.
2 - Are funds and time available? If not, don't waste the money.

Rain, and Jazz.
Halo: Tactical

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!

Trailers? Those commonly deceive the heck out of you. The back of boxes often don't have much actual info (aside from facts, like 1-4 Player or resolution, etc.) on them at all too.

Depending on the type of game, I'll do different things.

FPS: Check game mechanics to make sure it won't suck. I generally focus more on Multiplayer elements. (Halo 4 vs Halo 3 is an excellent example.)

RPGs: That the things I do actually matter to some degree or another. (Skyrim had red flags all over the place after I played a few hours.) Plot is generally a massive concern here, though it's hard to check without spoiling stuff.

I don't really have any specific plan for other kinds of games. This is mainly due to the large variety I find in other generes.

EDIT: Publisher and Developer history will often influence my speculation of unknown things about a game.

Recon Number 54 -
If they are still looking, then while holding the snarl, I let drool start to drip from my mouth, I stand, curl my fingers into claws and with a hunched over crouch, I then make slow and deliberate steps towards them. When I get close enough, I let them hear my agonized and gasping growls and then, if they continue to stare, when I get within arm's reach? I kiss them on the nose, and run away giggling.

If I like the series, I'll just get it.

If it is a new game or series I'm thinking about, General Flood opinion and youtube gameplay.

I usually just find out as much as I can without spoiling the campaign for myself.
