Subject: My roommate has a terrible sleeping problem. Any advice?

I like to play Reach for fun. I hate MLG, campers, armor lock, and team killers because they ruin that fun. Deal with it.

My roommate has an awful problem with sleeping; but before you say anything, it's not insomnia. In fact, it's probably the exact opposite of insomnia. When it's time to get up in the morning, his alarm goes off, but he doesn't budge an inch. His alarm is set on the loudest volume, but it still doesn't get him up. We've been trying new things to get him up like having my alarm go off at the same time as his or having his phone alarm go off at the same time. NOTHING WORKS. This morning the other students living in our hall were complaining that the radio in our room was insanely loud. I tried to explain the situation to them and I think they understood, but still weren't too pleased. Any advice to help with this?

I'm not a psycho. I'm cool. Calm your nipples.

Kill him while he sleeps.

Kill him while he sleeps.

I tried that already, but it didn't work! Seriously though, I can't touch him while he's asleep. He takes Tai Kwon Do classes and if I try to move him to wake him up, he physically flips out.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

Kill him. Eat his body and move to Paraguay to not be caught. Change your name to Juan Melendez and do odd jobs for money. If you ever see the police enter the village looking for anybody, jump off a cliff while biting in a poison tooth and shooting yourself in the head.

It's the only way to make sure you won't be caught.

I had a roommate with a similar problem once, and this is gonna be your best bet. Or just hitting him and then backing away very quickly. Just avoid the face.

You seem to have put a lot of thought into that. Almost like it's a personal contingency plan....

I don't know the name of this sleeping disorder but I know what you're on about...

I think that it might be called "hypersomnia"...

Bucket of cold water. Just get a warm blanket, we don't want hypothermia.

Screw the blanket. The more uncomfortable he is the better.

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

Leave him be.

Maybe if he keeps sleeping through his classes, his brain'll kick in and tell the rest of him "if we don't wake up on time, we will fail!"

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

It sounds like your roommate could benefit from having a sleep study performed.

No, need. It's just hypersomnia. Kick him in the face to wake him up. He'll judo chop you in the balls but it's worth it to do a friend a favour.
