All of these things may be possibilities. Which one is the most accurate, I shan't expose as of yet.

Obviously I don't want to risk you getting stitched up for giving away information before Bungie are happy, but I must know:

Are these "Snogard" Guarding the snow, or guards who simply happen to be in snow?

If the former, what is so special about this snow that they must guard it? And what are they guarding it from?
I thought that they were guards made of snow, and so by guarding the snow, they are guarding themselves.

“Strange,” mused the Director, as they turned away, “strange to think that even in Our Ford’s day most games were played without more apparatus than a ball or two and a few sticks and perhaps a bit of netting. imagine the folly of allowing people to play elaborate games which do nothing whatever to increase consumption.”

That is also a good one. It didn't occur to me, but of course we can't actually see what is under their armour. The only problem I see is that they are operating in a snowy environment - surely these guys would benefit from being able to immerse themselves in snow, for either healing or stealth, which with the armour they can't do?

Oh ome on Helveck, stop being a poo. At least give us something to work with?

The Traveler is a giant snowball, being guarded by the Snowguards until the third, largest snowball appears and is combined with earth and the Traveler to create the universe's largest Snowman.

Duh.

Clearly these are Snogard Nobles, and they refuse to come in contact with the lower classes of snow.

That also explains the smaller balls; obviously those will function as the eyes and mouth. As for the nose and arms it remains to be seen.

Only regret is I didn't play more of it.

If you haven't noticed by now, I'm sort of a jerk.

It all makes sense now. Dragons are the answer. Again.

A competitive players main goal is to win.
A casuals main goal is to have fun regardless of whether that results in a win or loss.
It has nothing to do with individual skill or knowledge, it has to do with the reason you play.

But..where are the dragons?

RIP Logan ~B.B.

I was playing with this guy the other day who claims to have played destiny. He said there is a boss dragon named "Veckhel". He has two special attacks. One is a wave of maple syrup. That reduces your movement speed. The second is attack is throwing a moose at the player. It all sounded very odd, so I'm not sure I trust the guy.

Sounds legit!
Canadian dragons are the most benign.

Did he say it says 'Sorry' all the time too?

Yes, he said after a successful Moose attack, Veckhel says "Sorry aboot that, eh."

I heard about that boss too. It sounds like the main strategy is to just survive the initial attacks by finding bags of milk to restore health. Eventually Veckhel will become so apologetic that it will stop attacking you and just retreat to his igloo.

  • 12.02.2012 2:11 PM PDT

When you are a bag of milk, the entire world is a juicebox straw.

Snowguards live in a snowy environment.

Dragons hate cold conditions.

Maybe the Dragon named Vechel has some sort of gene mutation to survive in cold climates. It had come from rich diet of Maple leaves which were supplied to him by his Commonwealth comrades, particularly Dannleg, Alustaria, and Africa South. The Queen had ordered the comrades to do this to prevent the snowguards uprising which would threaten her crown.
