I have it well, i haven't been diagnosed with it but i'm pretty DAMN sure i have it, so i don't take medication.
It's pretty hard to do my homework without getting distracted by something else, and don't do very well in school, but i've been told by my peers that i'm pretty smart

So, Flood do you also have ADD?

I'm not a psycho. I'm cool. Calm your nipples.

no

  • 12.01.2012 8:09 AM PDT

yeah but I love it

  • 12.01.2012 8:09 AM PDT

Congratulations. You're literate!

I've only been tested for it once. The test came out 50/50. Totally inconclusive. So I have no idea.

“I didn't want to wake up. I was having a much better time asleep. And that's really sad. It was almost like a reverse nightmare, like when you wake up from a nightmare you're so relieved. I woke up into a nightmare.”

I think so. It's hard for me to concentrate without getting distracted. Obviously if it's something important though, I'll be level-headed but ya know, it just gets me wondering.

Per Audacia Ad Astra

I don't get distracted, I'm incredibly impatient and I hate doing things that don't require high mental and/or physical activity.

When the boy you like has a girlfriend.

I often have a problem concentrating, but I seriously doubt it's ADD.

I swear it's like people have pride in the possibility of having ADD these days.

"I can't concentrate. Must have ADD! Hey look guys, I have ADD!"

Please stop complaining about the 'death of a loved one' it's my job. They probably deserved it anyways. Here's a warning, if you keep making pentagrams out of the neighbors livestock I will personally come to your house and kill everyone you love. Now leave me alone, I got to get back to work.

Actually, not at all. I can be at a standstill for hours and not get twitchy.

If you don't think ADD is a "legitimate disorder", you're disagreeing with every known medical institution out there.

You had better have a good reason if you don't want to look like an idiot.

Saying something is not the same thing as having pride in it.

For example: I have a phone.

I could simply be stating that I have a phone. Or, I could be bragging about having a phone. Whether or not I am is entirely up to you, thanks to the lack of body language and other nonverbal cues caused by this text based medium of communication we are using.

You think people "have pride in the possibility of having ADD these days" because that's how you read it when they say that they do.

Nah, it's pretty obvious there are individuals who will literally spew out the fact that they have ADD as if it makes them different or special. I don't see why you would ever want to randomly tell somebody you have ADD. If anything, it's embarrassing. Not being able to concentrate when you'd like to is god damn terrible.

Talking about ADD and talking about your phone are two very different things. It's even worse when people like the OP here, who haven't actually been diagnosed, claim they have ADD because they can't concentrate.

Kind of interesting that you look down at OP for diagnosing himself with ADD while at the same time telling us that saying you have is ADD "embarrassing".

You're just as wrong for telling us how we should feel as OP is for telling us what is wrong with him without any expertise.

Yes, I've been diagnosed with it. It bothers me beyond any known extent.

A competitive players main goal is to win.
A casuals main goal is to have fun regardless of whether that results in a win or loss.
It has nothing to do with individual skill or knowledge, it has to do with the reason you play.

American Dream Denial.
