Before I continue, I want to make this clear:

WE DON'T HATE BATTLEFIELD, WE DON'T HATE BF3, we simply hate the lies, the broken promises, the way DICE and EA has been treating us as well as the rest of the customers and the overall poor patch support DICE has given to BF3.

BF3 could have been a lot better, it could have had bigger content, more features, better support, but in the end, that's not what EA wants and there's nothing we can do to get the franchise back to it's roots and out of the CoD syndrome.

I used to be a Battlefield fan, constantly looking down on anyone who even gave the series a funny eye, however over the years, as the old DICE was being replaced by the new DICE, we (mordorHQ formerly know as EAUK) saw through EA and DICE's lies, we tried to raise awareness, we tried to give feedback (or feedbach as we say), we GAVE constructive critizism.

What was our reward? we got called nut jobs, idiots, whinners, spoiled kids and what have you (even ZH1NT0, the community manager called us a "black hole of negativity", ultimately calling EAUK Mordor).

The thread I'm linking here is pretty much a summary of the events that took place after BC2 was released to this date, what we, EAUK or Mordor as we call ourselves, witnessed and were part of.

Please, take your time to read this and then maybe the fanboys will at least get an idea of where we, the vets, come from when we "whine" that bf3 is not a successor to bf2.

Oh, and sorry, there's no tl:dr version because then it would overlook a lot of issues.

A cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal.

And from FOX, two phantoms were born.

You call that a wall?

OT: I've only played BC2 and BF3 so I'm not too interested in the series but it was an interesting read.

I aim to please.

Why give battlefield 3 more features when you can take those features and make Battlefield 4 and make more money? Silly OP, you know nothing of how the gaming industry works.

A competitive players main goal is to win.
A casuals main goal is to have fun regardless of whether that results in a win or loss.
It has nothing to do with individual skill or knowledge, it has to do with the reason you play.

Go back to BF1942, games move on, gaming industry moves on, you should accept it or stay in the older games.

BF3 had it's issues, mostly because of -blam!-ing community and DICE listening to them. But it's by far the best and most balanced FPS game to come out in recent years.

-blam!-, you guys are beyond saving.

Even reddit, -blam!- REDDIT, Dice Defense Force central, is on our side.

I wonder, how long are you gonna let a man -blam!- you in the ass to realize you're being raped?

Keep It Clean!

So some random clan is whining about BF3? How surprising indeed. Battlefield 3 (Xbox) has, imo, the best and most content since Reach.

Been with the series since BF2.
I agree completely with you guys but, like many others, I just gave up and moved on.
BF3 became so stale so quick and I expect nothing different from BF4.

So what you're telling me is that EA ruined another game series, ruined another developer, and has piss-poor customer relations?

I didn't know that.

I enjoy BF3 as one of the best multiplayer FPS I have ever played and I don't give a damn what happened behind the curtains.

"And i will show you where the iron crosses grow..."

Interesting read.
