What the flying -blam!- were the designers of this keyboard thinking!? When your palm presses the Ctrl key and then presses another button, it refreshes the page! Lemme tell you, I have lost a lot of long pages of typing from my -blam!- palm accidentally landing on that accursed key! This is one of those things in the universe that I find purely stupid! Like... can someone tell me how to disable this -blam!- feature?

Congratulations. You're literate!

There's no way to disable keyboard shortcuts, I'm afraid. You'll just have to be careful not to press Ctrl+R.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

The CRTL key enables a lot of functions, not just a screen refresh. It's critical for copy-paste-find, etc.

Some browsers will allow you to page-back and preserve your input.

Why don't you eat the control key?

It worked for my mother.

Use the Back button in your browser. In Google Chrome, for example, if I navigate away from the posting page and then go back, I'll be able to continue typing my post from where I left off.

I try that and it doesn't recover my typing. I try Ctrl Z and that doesn't recover it either. It just erases it! I have no doubt i'm not the sole barer of this problem.

You mean copy and paste? Wouldn't do any good when the typing is already erased.

Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.

You could always physically remove the key.
