I do not want to stop asking. I do not ask to stop wanting.

Honestly, the core gameplay and flow is absolute garbage. It's cool to go in a jet for the first time and pilot all the vehicles and stare off into the distance of this giant map, but the core gameplay is choppy, bland, and just downright unfun. [IMO]

What do you think Flood? How good is BF3's multiplayer?

Ew, my username. :C

I came up with it when I was 10.

Yes, it sucks.

/thread.

I didn't really like it when I played it. My friend hyped it up a bit too much.

  • 12.01.2012 1:56 PM PDT

Butt ugly ape” remarked Sergeant Johnson always making fun out of the situation even though he had been hit by a spiker round in the arm. He mustered up the strength to continue and the team moved on. The Arbiter informed him that the next room held The Prophet of Truth and this was the final room before extraction. Jun proposed that he takes a shot from a distance the prophet and they all head back to the ship bay for extraction. The team agreed on this and breached the last door…

BF3 multiplayer is so beastly and realistic. You can do so much other stuff than run and gunning to get XP.

The Renaissance Man; The Bigger Fool.

In my experience, the level of enjoyment is very much influenced by the people you're playing with. This is true of many, if not all, multiplayer games, but because Battlefield supplies so many options to people it plays a larger role.

I don't care if someone is complaining about Halo or not. These threads are gettiing old.

  • 12.01.2012 2:00 PM PDT

Well, the Anti-CoD community overhyped it, it's good by its own standard, in the same way CoD is, but it's nothing amazing.

  • 12.01.2012 2:01 PM PDT

Yeah, not really.

It use to be incredibly fun until they did their "balance" patches that completely nerfed all the vehicles into the ground.
The game is basically CoD now.

I see OP has playing with other CoD kids who just camped the whole match.

Rush is the best game type were made.

A) I'm not a "CoD kid"- in fact I've been playing Battlefield since the second one (not second instalment, second one as in BF2)

B) Rush is meh. The entire game just doesn't flow well. it's just a conglomerate of bullets and explosions. [IMO]

What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

I bet you played on the console version. It does suck.

PC version the flow of the game is much better. 32v32 makes the game feel like it isn't empty.

I prefer BF:BC2.

  • 12.01.2012 2:25 PM PDT

You look around. You fire your weapon before you realize.
Its just me. I fall and you walk up. You cry why.
When i pop up. You look at me in wonder. I say,"ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL."
You bend to my will and go to a cliff, walk off, and fall.
The last thing you hear is me stating as fact,"All will fail the battle of life, you just went early"

I love it.

We all wear masks and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing our own skin.

It does suck after all the updates and patches. Before they ruined it, it was a pretty damn fun game.

Generalizations.
Helping idiots hate other idiots since people have existed.

I love it. I feel that the weapons sandbox is relatively balanced; there is no one weapon that dominates the battlefield. Perhaps the support kit needs a little buffing, but other than that I think it's fine.

The vehicle combat is unmatched in comparison to other modern FPS's like Halo or Call of Duty.

Yeah about that, last time I played:
- Flying in transport helo
- SOFLAMs everywhere
- hear lock tone, deploy flares
- nothing happens, javelin hits me for +70% of my health
- realize there's no way to reliably dodge laser locks in transport helo, can't even go behind obstacles as they do top-attack.

And that's the day I uninstalled BF3.

Yes, because screw logic and all forms of common sense.

I wouldn't quite say that, but it is quite fun, I'll give you that. Especially jets. Man, do I love me some jets.

Here's a genius idea: fly behind something and break the lock.

Whether I'm in a jet or helicopter, if I get locked onto, the first thing I do after deploying flares/ECM is put something in between me and the launcher. If I'm in a chopper, fly low behind a building. If I'm in a jet, fly flow and get behind one of the many mountains.

And finally, with the SOFLAM, you can also climb to a higher altitude. SOFLAM's can't look up very far.

"You are the last of your kind: bred for combat, built for war. You're the master of any weapon, pilot of any vehicle, and fear no enemy"

It's outstanding.

Think you're just mad.

Rush was better in BFBC2.

OT: Yeah really the game has become quite boring/uninteresting. If anything it has become even more like CoD.

Support is fine. People say that because they want it to be able to 1v1 AR's. That isn't what support is for. Not the way I see it.
