Yep having a K/D over 1.5 and w/l over 1.5= me being bad.

So you win 150% of your matches?

No, that means he wins 3 matches for every 2 matches he loses.

3/2 = 150%

ALL HAIL GABEN

You're playing it on console aren't you? That's your problem.

It's pretty fun on PC....especially with 64 players.

I've played a few matches on PC as well. It's a hell of alot better as the action is paced more evenly, but I still just can't seem to like the flow of the game.

It's a fun game but I think I hyped it a bit too much. I'll still play it every now and then though.

  • 12.01.2012 3:23 PM PDT

I enjoy it, although it's not something I play on a regular basis.

If I ever get AIDS, I'm going to sleep with another AIDS person so my AIDS cancel each other out, or I'm going to make the AIDS I already have worse.

It's Call of Duty with an HD texture pack and sunglare.

In memory of those fallen in the defense of Earth and her colonies.

March 3, 2553

I loved it. It was a change from a shooter like CoD, and the vehicle combat added depth to the gameplay.

心の中に弱い風が吹いています。

I like it, but then again I do pretty good in BF3.

  • 12.01.2012 3:28 PM PDT

Whatever as always.

I forgot I still have that game.
Need to fix that whole "having it" part.

  • 12.01.2012 3:29 PM PDT

I don't care much for vehicles. The gameplay in TDM is significantly better than CoD though. They just need to fix the suppression bull-blam!-.

Here's a genius idea: fly behind something and break the lock.

Whether I'm in a jet or helicopter, if I get locked onto, the first thing I do after deploying flares/ECM is put something in between me and the launcher. If I'm in a chopper, fly low behind a building. If I'm in a jet, fly flow and get behind one of the many mountains.

And finally, with the SOFLAM, you can also climb to a higher altitude. SOFLAM's can't look up very far.
This is a good time to lay down my experience. 50+ hours piloting transport helos alone in BF3 with thousands of kills between my gunners. Top 20 Jet global leaderboard in the first few months. I know what I'm doing when I'm flying, bro.

Anyways, here are the facts:
- You don't know when you are being locked on while in a Transport, it bugs out. You have a lock tone while in an attack helo, not a Transport. That means you won't know when you are being locked until the missile is actually fired.
- Flares do not distract javelin missiles in a Transport.
- Missiles like Javelins do a top attack, which means the only way to dodge them is to fly under a bridge. On maps like Oman and Firestorm that isn't possible around 80% of the map.

It's unbalanced when more than 25% of their team has lock-on, which is every game last time I played.

In my experience, the level of enjoyment is very much influenced by the people you're playing with. This is true of many, if not all, multiplayer games, but because Battlefield supplies so many options to people it plays a larger role.

Hi! How you doin'?

Sometimes, all you need are a couple giant explosions to get you through the day.

I enjoyed it, so there must be something good about it OP.

IMO, I like that there are often longer pauses in combat; It helps me think, and appreciate the way the levels look.

Not that they look very good mind you, but it's nice to look around once in a while.

An update to the game made flares distract javelin missiles. I do believe it doesn't work very well, so I'll give you that.

Transport (and scout) helo's have spaces for engineers. If you ever fly with 2 mates repairing you, you're damn near impossible to kill.
You're a bad pilot if you take off in an empty transport helicopter. Even if you only take off with two gunners, they'll switch out of their gunner seat to repair you, unless they are terrible. (This is also assuming that no one spawns on you, which never happens.)

And finally, if 25% of the entire enemy team is trying to kill just you, I'd say it would be unbalanced if they weren't able to, regardless of what game it is.

Small Community, Lots of Fun. We do Halo, Minecraft, and much more.

I like BF3. Then again, I didn't play any of the ones before except 1942 and 1943.

I actually prefer pauses in combat to admire my surroundings. It's just the transition between pauses is jarring, and that I just find the core gameplay to be choppy. One second you're admiring the Frostbite 2's capabilities, the next you have Michael Bay directing the follow up to Transformers 3.

Whatever floats your boat, man. Personally, I never really had a problem with the transitions.

What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

Yeah you missed out. BF2 had a team leader that could call in airstrikes, spot all the enemies for you, and other stuff all on a map. The amount of players on one map was a lot.

You still can go play it of course but at a price. It is sad that they couldn't just tone down the graphics in BF3, so consoles could have more than 24 players at one time. It is also sad that some of their customers prefer to keep the graphics over the amount of players in a game.
