I have a '73 Supersport Rally Nova with a 350 small block running about 350 horsepower, Unfortunately it is an automatic, I bought a B&m pro shifter to get the feel of a manual but How do I install it when my automatic shifter is on the steering column, I don't understand how I can get this to work? Should I go stop by Auto zone or O reillys?

A cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal.

And from FOX, two phantoms were born.

I only know what I see on Top Gear.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Ohh... I was hoping for a simple "My engine is making a knocking noise" or something like that.

I would be talking with a mechanic before starting. When you put those kits in, sometimes you have to do a bit of modification on the fly, and its nearly never the same job twice. I've always had better luck at AutoZone.

I've never heard of either Auto zone or O'reilly's, but if you don't know what to do you should ask a professional or a knowledgeable friend.

Well my step father has been an Army mechanic for 8 years, and he can name any part of anything, of any engine back and forth and what noise means what, But it even stumbles him, The shifter was "Made" for an automatic car..But I don't see how you can use it without the steering column shifter, I have to use that to take it out of park!

Duct tape and the force feedback joystick + wires to your battery cable = the feel of a manual that you seek.

There is no easy fix for this, to make this work you have to relocate the shifter to the console.

I dont know what model you bought, but this http://bmracing.com/?wpsc-product=unimatic-shifter model seems to be what you are lookimg for.

Here are the instructions for the kit required, it may work with your model http://bmracing.com/wp-bnmcont/uploads/35498.pdf
