I played minecraft intensively for about a week. I found the perfect plot of land right on top of a rich cave system, which I built my house on top of. Where the cows, pigs, chicken, and sheep roam, right in a meadow area, on the side of a winter region, next to a small lake connected to the ocean. I dug a mine bigger than you could shake a stick at. I built a nice 3 story house, all symmetrical, with a wooden roof and wooden floors, and windows. I built a watchtower on top for no good reason. I built a farm with all the animals and crops I could need. I planted a forest in front of my house. Baked cakes. Then I accidentally burned down my house, then rebuilt it just the same as before. I even built a gate to the nether on my second floor.
That basically sums up my minecraft experience. There's no possible way to play the game in a way that it becomes challenging, because I already set up the right living conditions. So there's no effort involved anymore. I just got bored of it. There's just nothing left to do that I can foresee.
