Subject: How to lose Those Last Stubborn Pounds?

Hey friends, over the course of 2 years (mostly due to laziness) I have lost about 50 pounds. During this time I ran a lot and lifted weights with my brother and friends. I still have about 15 pounds to go before I am no longer overweight. My abs are slightly visible, (sometimes the whole pack comes out, but other times it's non-existent) mainly my v-cut that I got from swimming in school and my first pack of abs closest to my upper torso( the diaphragm area). I think I'd look much more muscular if I'd just lose these stubborn pounds, but is there a better trick?

I haven't officially started again, but the times that I've tried I just can't seem to lose them, they DO NOT want to get out! I have a pretty healthy diet of mainly every vegetable and healthy meats such as chicken, turkey, and fish. Rarely do I eat chicken nuggets, I hate bacon, and I don't eat red meat except on Holidays.

Does anyone have any tips on how to lose these last pounds!

My gamertag is Dustin Nugget, like my name here.

Lifting weights makes you heavier bro... muscle is heavier than fat.

I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

You can't do spot loss. I was in the same situation as you about a month ago OP. I started pull ups and built on even more muscle, infact more than I ever got from lifting. Try doing pull ups OP, they really do a lot for your entire body.

I was thinking of buying in iron gym, actually. Thanks for the tip. I too, have heard of the false myth of spot reduction.

It's not my fault, I was just trying to tie my shoe!

Cut all sugary drinks/snacks if you haven't already. Take in very little carbs, so your body will be more likely to burn fat as an alternate fuel.

That may be so, but I also have a lot of love handle, butt, and thigh fat. If you see me turned around, you'll probably think I'm 20 pounds heavier than I am now, but when I turn around, I look pretty thin except for my hips.

I have curves, muscles, and I'm a man. So in this case, my hips lie and make me look fatter than I actually am, especially while wearing long or big clothing.

This is a set back for me. Although I eat healthy for meals, I tend to get a little crazy on desserts. But is that really what's holding back so much? Also, how long would you predict it would take with none of this sugary stuff plus ever-other-day overall weight lifting and running a mile every day?

I know that what I just asked is hard to determine, but I would like a rough estimate if you can provide that. I'm 16 by the way.
