Since when did the Halo 3 forums become an advertising board for other games?

I didn't even hear that Crysis is coming to the 360. All I've heard is that so far its slated as a PC only title.

Whether or not Halo 3 will really look better than Crysis depends on a number of factors. CryEngine2 is really dropping a load of shader effects onto the game, like motion blur, High Dynamic Range lightning, soft shadowing and universal lighting, morphable and destructible terrain and a jaw-droppingly realistic physics system. Whether or not Halo 3 can and will measure up to what Crytek is doing with their title has really yet to be seen, until some more media starts to come out..

Also, Crysis is being labeled as the first PC title to make use of Microsoft's DirectX 10 graphics API.

To be honest, as powerful as the 360 is, unless some sort of software solution is realized, I don't think the GPU inside can make use of that.

well the 360s card is better than anything out right now, except maybe the sli
and it uses directx 10 also i think a 512mb can run that pretty smooth

But DirectX 10 isn't even out, and won't be out until after Vista ships and there are cards on the market that can take advantage of it.

A unified shader engine is essentially the engine that your video card runs when rendering and parsing shader and rendering information from the game's software.
