Subject: So I just watched all of the LOTR movies for the first time.

I've already read The Hobbit and The Fellowship, but I went ahead and watched all the movies. Best 3 movies I've ever watched. Now I'm going to read the rest of the books.

What are your opinions of The Lord of The Rings?

Amazing. I hope the Hobbit is just as good.

Unreal, isn't it?

Amazing series. I read the first two but never finished Return of the King. However, Tolkien has a lot of other works that are exceptional that go into the history of Middle-Earth. The Silmarillion is incredible, and the Children of Hurin is great too.

Of course, The Hobbit will always be a classic.

I first watched the trilogy about 2 months ago. I loved it.

I can't wait for the Hobbit.

love 'em, but i pretty much universally prefer science fictions and histories to fantasy stories. definitely my favorite "trilogy."

They suck. I watched 30 mins of the first one and couldn't watch anymore. Horrible story, awful acting, no character development, and the premise was just plain dumb.

Pure Insanity

Right before you die, there is always a chance to save yourself, sieze that chance and live to fight another day
The best way to kill someone is to fight them with the same weapons they use and make them know you are better than them, not because of superior weaponry, but because of superior skill.

Close, but the plague killed those infected with it, and the ignorant are still alive.
I wish ignorance was a plague.

I tried reading it, but ragequit because I got bored; 11-year-old me didn't have the attention span for it. I keep meaning to try again, but never got around to it.

*scratches nuts*

The best part of the movies is the scenery. New Zealand truly is a beautiful place.

And now that I've got that shameless plug from my country's tourism sector out of the way I can go back to what I was doing

Probably one of the greatest trilogies of all time. Hopefully, the hobbit will join the ranks of this awesome trilogy.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

I can't help but think of this
