Like Pokemon is actually Ashes dream while hes in a coma, and my personal favorite, ed edd n' eddy takes place in a purgatory for dead children? Well I think i just realized one for Hey Arnold.

The majority of the city is a huge asylum for people with severe mental issues!

Think about it, all the kids in the school have severe, yet under lying mental disabilities, Like Helgas obsessions with arnold, and Harolds needyness that makes him useless without his "mommy".

Then there's Arnolds Grandmother, the crazy old bat, the evil ice cream man who sees the city of a unlawful corrupt terrible place, the man who leaches off his wife and can't do anything for himself, among others.

Then, there's people placed within this asylum to help the issues along, like Arnolds teacher who is always pushing the idea of the students "Being themselves" and finding out "Who they are", or even Arnolds grand father, one of the only seemingly sane people.

This might also explain why Arnolds Elementary school is named "PS 118".

List of possible children with serious issues:
Arnold-Possibly having an unknown issues, conected to the loss of his parents, possibly something linked to his constant need to help everyone else?
Helga-Overly passionate and extremely obsessed with Arnold, possibly with other things before arriving at the asylum at a young age(according tot he show they've known each other since they were 3.)
Harold-Unwilling to become independent, and overly attachted to parent figures.
Lyla-Possible underlying extreme stress stemming from broken home, and a poor family.
Stinky-Terribly unconfident to the point of never trying anything for the sake of not being good at it, possibly more.

There are others but at the moment I can't remember the name of most of the other children. I also think Gerald is normal, placed in the asylum, as the higher ups of said asylum hope the other children will try to emulate his seemingly normal life.

I'm currently watching the show on netflix, will update with any updates that come along if you guys want.

Have nice day.

Dude, that just -blam!- my mind.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Too far fetched

I don't know about that, but I loved the Ed, Edd, n Eddy creepypasta. Some people can say it ruins their childhood show all they want, but it just makes it more awesome to me! :D

I Agree! It makes me want to watch the whole series just to look for more proof for it tbh! Haha.

Same here. And honestly, if I ever made a children's cartoon, i'd make it in a way like that. Seems harmless and fun, but is horribly disturbing beneath the appearance.

Same. Though, I'd probably end up making an Alice In Wonderland esque story with many, many under lying purely grim occurrences. Character who are actually died, characters who represent the scum of the earth, all in a very Wonderlandly form. If given the chance that is. I've always had a certain affinity for the story of Alice.

I never read the original story, but I did watch the movie that had Johnny Depp playing the Mad Hatter...I think it was him, anyway. That was a good movie, but I really wouldn't mind getting around to reading the story.

Huh...I just looked it up on the creepypasta wiki, but the page seems to have been deleted.

Edit: Here's a video about it.

"No... Not since Woodstock..."

All the characters in Sponge Bob are the mutated results of nuclear testing.

Harry Potter is all in his head as he copes with the abuse of his uncle and living under the stairs.

Though I will admit the one about Pokemon being entirely in his head is probably my favourite.

Good point! I entirely forgot about him! And Candy Boy... Perhaps some deep depressions he tries to fill with food?
