I love Halo, I always haved. Halo 4 is missing a lot of beautiful things Halo 2 and 3 had.
Map Control
Ranking skill(Yes I know that is coming back in January)
Weapon spawns :(

Guys Halo 4 has a lot of potential and has fixed many things from Reach but 343 forgot to add Old Halo's greatness to this game...

true, but I have a little mercy on 343i's since this was their first game and since i was expecting some issues no matter what
It can be fixed, and hopefully it will. I will wait for the updates, In all honestly 343 is doing a good job so far and maybe they can save Halo again. I have a hate/love for Nostalgia because I can say what Halo 3 would feel like if it had came out in 2012 when we actually thought about this stuff. There's need to be new things that we can adapt to and learn to love easily.

Yes, it's Nostalgia. Actually looking back, so many thing were wrong with Halo 2-3 compared to Halo 4. Not even sure how people could enjoy playing Halo 2's multiplayer after playing Halo 3-4.

These things are what I've greatly missed since Halo 2.
Map: Still nostalgia. Reflection, Pinnacle, Last Resort, and Black Out. Sure playing the remakes of these maps bring back alot of good memories, but playing on them on new Halo games just what Nostalgia glasses made it out to be. Alot of maps in Halo: Reach and Halo 4 would be good if the gameplay was as dumbed down and repetitive as Halo 2's.

Ranking System: I agree.

According to The Flood, if its not Halo 3.5 then it automatically makes it bad.

Exactly Halo's gameplay was never to be messed with, there should be a true ranking system for every single Halo game made. The same repeating gameplay, the only thing that should be changed in Halo's core is the armor and customizations. Not loadouts nor the actual gameplay or ranking system. Loadouts are not a bad idea

same, Halo 3 was the greatest halo game IMO, but that was bungie's game, Halo 4 is 343i's. Its good for 343i's and it's going to get better

Definitely nostalgia because a lot of people complain and seem to want a copy and paste of Halo 3. I don't understand it. They try to justify that it is not change in general they hate, but "bad change". So then what is "good change"?

It definitely is, Nostalgia is great and evil at the same time.

Butt ugly ape” remarked Sergeant Johnson always making fun out of the situation even though he had been hit by a spiker round in the arm. He mustered up the strength to continue and the team moved on. The Arbiter informed him that the next room held The Prophet of Truth and this was the final room before extraction. Jun proposed that he takes a shot from a distance the prophet and they all head back to the ship bay for extraction. The team agreed on this and breached the last door…

I dream about that every night when I go to sleep.

When talking about Halo CE or Halo 2, nostalgia is more important than actual gameplay facts.

Almost every single map in Halo 2, even the DLC ones, I thoroughly enjoyed playing on. They were well designed and different visually. It's gotten worse and worse with each Halo following Halo 2. Although, it is hard to judge a map when something like the jetpack can completely break every single one of them.

Not Call of Duty.
Put it this way, Cod is a bad game. BUT the reason they succeed is that they use the same core gameplay every new release EVERY. If Halo did the same with 2 & 3 we would be still be number one guys.

Good change is when you keep the same "core gameplay" while changing the "accessories" or what compliment the game. Halo 2 to Halo 3 did a great job: adding forge, theater, file share, even equipment being neutral in maps so it was up for grabs like all power weapons.
