For the most part, they suck. Some sets, like Operator and Rogue I absolutely love. The basic sets like Warrior and Air Assault are decent, too (especially for low-level unlocks). Most, however, are either really bland (especially in regards to the shoulders) or just plain ugly. A lot of the helmets just plain look stupid. With the exception of Gungir in Reach, all previous helmets had real visors that could actually work as something you look out of. Now, they've established that the new helmets have cameras and sensors and projections that make a standard visor unnecessary, but I have two problems with this: 1. In the event the helmet or its electronics get damaged, you're blind. Military hardware is supposed to have multiple redundancies, and being able to physically see out of the helmet seems like a really important redundancy (yes, it's a video game with superhuman space marines; it still pretends to be somewhat plausible and I wish the armour reflected that). 2. Despite conventional visors not being necessary, some of the helmets still have bits of visor, but in places where you can't see out of them. Why does Wetworks have a random little stripe? Why does Pioneer have two little viewports for the mouth and nose? Visors are naturally going to be weak points, so it does make sense to try eliminating them, but then these helmets have totally useless visor bits that add weak points but contribute nothing to old-fashioned visibility.
