When I'm in class I see people trying to study before a test, talking about how much they studied the night before, and how much they hate studying. Even though some of these people study so much they still fail their tests.

I have never studied and I'm an A student. I just listen the first time it is taught then I have it.

Do you study?

Not as much as I should. It's just so boring, I can't stand it.

I hate these kind of people. I study a reasonable amount and get terrible marks.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

I really only study when I'm not confident of the material. So a good chunk of the time. I really just have to make notes or answer review questions just to drill it in my brain.

Right now I've got a decent A average, so I'd say I'm doing pretty good.

To be good at studying you must be able to learn things the first time round. If you have to study something all the time to get an "A" at it, you're not really that good at it.

Don't punch a British kid, the queen'll come after you.

If I want to get into Oxford I bloody have to.

Why are you looking at this?

Never studied in high school, finished with a 4.0 GPA, top 5% and all that jazz.

Yes, I took high level classes. Honors/AP curriculum (and yes, I did take the AP tests).

Sophomore in college right now with 3.81 cummulative GPA (even though I have the credit level of a junior), and I study all the time. Things change, it gets harder as you go.

My grades are usually average, I don't do as much studying as I should. It's not that I find the work boring, it's just that I get distracted very easily (e.g. posting this on teh flood).

depends on the subject..

I used to study for high school... I got good grades...

Now, I study for college... And make bad-average-occasionally okayishly good scores, but mostly bad D: Even though I study; I'm hoping to turn that around now that I've started studying more recently...

iPhone 4S 64GB Black.

Of course, or else I'd do crap in the state examinations, and my life would be ruined if I wasn't able to do the courses in college I wanted to.

LOL, Oxford. I think the highest percentage pass rate for getting into Oxford/Cambridge in any college is like 5%... So quite low. I don't get the ideal for prestige when it comes to universities because I think that just getting into a university is good enough, but I guess if one can go for Oxford/Cambridge that's pretty good, but I heard the tech's better in other universities but that the prestige of it's good; though they only offer traditional courses, rather than specialised courses unlike some lower universities...

I think for Oxford you need three A*'s at A-Level and one A at AS-Level.

Sometimes I am tempted to quit gaming. I can no longer play without seeing ponyphags, horrendously bad teammates and mexicans.

Gaming community, I want you to know that you suck.

I never did. The only academic subject I was remotely interested in was biology, and I didn't have to study for that.

In my opinion, I don't care who laughs last or first. As long as I laugh in the process, everything is good.

No, but my test scores tend to be A's or B's.

My report card tends to have a few F's and D's though. I don't do my homework.

Ah, the internet. Where men are men, women are men, and children are the FBI.

I didnt in high school, and I got almost all A's. But now in college, I do have to study for a considerable amount of time. For example, I have a test this friday, saturday, and a final the following tuesday. From now to the end of tuesday, I will have studied probably between 50-70 hours.

  • 12.02.2012 1:19 PM PDT

I study a good amount and usually I'll generally get decent grades, but sometimes it is different by subject.
