In my opinion, I don't care who laughs last or first. As long as I laugh in the process, everything is good.

Burn MP3 files onto a blank CD. Now you can play it in the car or on your stereo.

OT: Digital.

3.) A CD I can play on my stereo, in the car, or import to my computer and have on my iPod. It's just more versatile.

I like how this guys seems to think he's got it figured out

You'd get better quality just cutting out the middleman and pirating

The Internet is an empowerment tool that's agnostic; it doesn't care about race, gender, or age.

Digital. Not a fan of CD's.

And by the way, a CD is digital, and it is ripped to MP3 sooo.... the poll is wrong.

I fail to see how this is relevant. Everybody else seems to know what i am talking about, even if the poll is "wrong"/

I always buy CD's so that I can rip them to multiple sources without having to worry about losing the original file. Of course, if I can get a FLAC / WAV file on Bandcamp, I'd go for that.

CDs are nice to have, but I always end up ripping them and I don't normally go back to them. But since they're roughly the same price, I'll often spring for them.

MP3
FLAC

I bet you anything that you can't tell the difference in a blind audio test what's 320Kbps MP3 and what's FLAC. Plus FLAC takes up a crap ton of memory.
Flac serves as the best archival format in case something happens to your CDs.

Can you rip a CD into FLAC?

Yes

CDs have WAV files on them and that's the raw audio signal which can therefore be converted to all manner of formats.
