Is being stored by the NSA. Do you have freedom? No, thats just an illusion in the US. One of my sources
So... because someone watched my freedom I am not free?

I write poetry, I write short-stories, I listen to hip-hop (80s&90s), Reggae, Classic Rock n Roll, Heavy Metal, Jazz, Blues, and the 60s, 70s.

Anyways, I'm surprised I haven't been arrested yet.

Everyone cares about opinions, that's why we socialize on a forum with strangers.

OK.

I really couldn't care less. There are how many people in the USA? Now how many agents looking over our activity? Its the focus problem. Sure, it may get recorded, but there isn't anything making them focus on me.

But let's say they do focus on you. Like, let's say your name is similar to the name of a domestic terrorist they're looking for. They have the power to completely destroy your life.

So they would do so based on name alone? Completely forgetting DNA match-ups, photos, possible age differences, work history, search history, criminal records, alibis, work interests, love interests, motives, travel history, family history, religious affiliation, establishments frequented, personal affiliations, and recorded conversational history?

Seems correct.

Odds are, if they are focusing on you then you have triggered some alarms in most, if not all, of those categories (or more) to make them believe you are a possible threat to the safety of this country and safety of others.
Think airport security. Everyone goes through it, but they only focus the ones that trigger the alarms. If you are an honest-going citizen and you've done nothing to trigger the alarms, the alarms wont trigger.

Maybe I will never be
All the things that I wanna be
But now is not the time to cry
Now's the time to find out why
I think you're the same as me
We see things they'll never see
You and I are gonna live forever

Did you say something? I can't hear you over my FREEDOM!!!
Um... What freedoms does America have that other developed countries don't? Besides owning a gun. That's just idiotic.

It's probably so that the Government know who is/isn't falling for all the propaganda, so they can be captured and tortured by the CIA.

OP, you say that is only one of your sources, can we possibly see some more? A youtube video from a news outlet named "Russia Today" probably isn't the best source.

I'm an Anarchist. I don't need a government to be a good person, but I'm glad it's here because some of you clearly do.

It takes an Anarchist point of view to realize we've never really had freedom to begin with. Relative freedom is a much more accurate assessment of what the US is and has always been about, and with the NSA recording everything you put into the internet, things aren't any less free than there were before the internet, so I'm not sure what the fuss is all about.

Mankind invents something new. Powerful figures of man grab onto and squeeze it. What's new?

For all questions with answers unknown to you, the proper procedure is to assume the answer is peanut butter.

While that may be true, I'm just going to pretend otherwise.

So..? I'm pretty positive they give less -blam!-s about us than you do about them storing data. Honestly, what could they even use this for? Everyone knows everything about everyone now anyway.

I know. Hence why I don't say anything via electronic means or near electronic devices if I don't want people to overhear it. Also, l2PGP. There's still keyloggers and screenloggers of course.

Happily married to Fatal_Coin_Vest since July 1st, 2009.

Thank you, Captain K Mart.

I can't even care anymore. I already know that I wouldn't give up my smartphone, FB, computers, the internet, forum-going, and all that technological -blam!-. And it's impossible for me to not be tracked by someone when I do anything with those items. So why get all worked up over it? It's too big to stop now. And I'm hardly the worst person out there, anyways.

I dream of a day when my smartphone knows exactly what I'm doing, and tries to guess what I'm about to do next. By keeping track of where I go and when I do it every day, it could figure out my life- my job, my normal hours, class schedule, where I like to get food, where I bank, where my friends live, where I live. It could help my keep track of so many things in life. And it could improve itself to stay make my life easier based on the info it gathers. Imagine the possibilities.

I would embrace that. I do embrace it.

1. lol RT

2. If this is true, then this doesn't mean that we lack freedom, it means we lack privacy.
