My gamertag is Dustin Nugget, like my name here.
There are only three types of colleges you need to know. The elite, the community colleges, and everything in between (we'll call them mid-tier colleges). The point is that instead of wasting tens of thousands of dollars, if not, hundreds of thousands of dollars on a mid-tier college, just go for the least expensive one that has the classes you require.
Your employer will only ever care about the name of your college if it's an elite school such as Yale, Harvard, etc. As for community colleges, these are cheap ways to get all your liberal art degrees out of the way that have nothing to do with your field. Beyond that, your employer doesn't care about the name of your college. Studies time and time again have proven this.
You can take my advise, or suffer from huge massive debts that will taunt you for the rest of your life. You can only borrow about 30,000 dollars in student loans from the government. Beyond that, you'll have to get to finding scholarships and grants (most of which will only cover 500-2,000 dollars).
An average student loan debt is about 50,000 to 75,000 dollars. It's not unusual for it to be 200,000 dollars (that's a house). And unless you're a genius, or super rich, elite colleges are out of the equation. Sorry, but it's the hard, cold truth. Also, if you're going to start a business, you don't need to go to college. College is to make yourself appealing to you employer. All information you will ever need can be found for free, on the internet.
Again if you don't take my advise and go to that super, expensive college for nothing, I don't care. Being frugal causes recessions anyways. Good day.
