Subject: Your opinions on assisted suicide.

I'm doing a paper on this for my government class, I'm pro PAS, because honestly, its your life and you should ultimately be able to do what you want with it, as long as your in a right state of mind and don't suffer from any mental illness. Dying is not a crime. I just wanted to get some other opinions from teh fludz because I have to be able to defend my bill.

GOAT

I'm for it, but you better have a better argument than "I want to."

Lt. Dan I brought you some ice cream. Lt. Dan.. ice creaaam!

My opinion is that it's something I never want to think about.

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

I agree with it

"Life is constantly fleeting from your grasp even from the very day it's bestowed upon you, but the shadow of death is always there, waiting for its chance to take you away."

"Even though many may not think so, ignorance and innocence are one and the same. The only difference is that one sounds nicer."

"I once knew a man who spent his entire life contemplating where we go after our death....it's a shame he realized it a second too late to tell anyone."

I agree with you on this one.

I like how your sub box is full of science and political videos but your recommendations are full of anime girls kissing each other.

I'll bring the tritium laser cutters if you bring the beer!

Funny story.

I think that letting someone suffer to death simply because you are too much of a wimp to help them die is immoral for the same reasons that torture is immoral.

What? So you guys would help someone else to end their lives?

Are you sick or what? Hug the man for -blam!-s sake. Do something GOOD for humanity and stop that person from killing himself.

in·dif·fer·ence
the fact or state of being indifferent; lack of care or concern and empathy demonstrated by an absence of emotional reactions.

I pretty much agree with you. If a person has clear judgment and wishes to be euthanized then surely it should be allowed. However the subject gets a little tricky when a person is not capable of clear and rational thought.

My bill is going to state that it is only for the terminally ill or those who suffer from some form of chronic illness that greatly diminishes their quality of life. Also there'd be a 6 month process in which you would have psychologic evaluations just to make sure you definitely want to go through with it.

What if someone is 92 year old and they already find life to be incredibly painful just because of their aging body?

The person is no longer autonomous, they can't kill themselves but they feel pain. They're stuck in the cage of their own body. What then? What would you do? Tell them to suck it up suffer for a few more years and die of a "beautiful" natural death?

I believe this is talking in the context of medical cases such as prolonged suffering due to a physical/mental ailment.

I'd also include the case of UNSC Captain Jacob Keyes in the events of the Human-Covenant war of 2552, in which he was taken over by the Flood and, still being conscious despite being controlled by the symbiote, put to rest by his friend the Master Chief.

Bungie doesn't like French on their site.

Everyone has the right to end their life. However, it's different when someone jumps off a building and scars people, then someone doing it in their home or some government suicide place were you OD on something or what have you.

Do it in a private place or under control environments.

(On the record I wouldn't help someone kill themselves)

You never know if that person may get better or not. You aren't the keeper of his life; no human is.

Suicide isn't always used as a means to escape problems. Some take the idea into a different light

What if next week you got in a car crash in which you lost all your limbs? How is that temporary? Sure there's prosthetics and you can regain some sense of normalcy back in your life, but some people can't handle that and would rather be dead. Why should we deny them the right no end their own life.

Sometimes I am tempted to quit gaming. I can no longer play without seeing ponyphags, horrendously bad teammates and mexicans.

Gaming community, I want you to know that you suck.

I hate moral assignments that require my personal opinion. I really don't go beyond "because".

That said, if the person wants to die, why should I try to stop them?
