It was once said that a million monkeys at a million keyboards could reproduce the works of shakespeare... Now thanks to the internet we know that this is not true

No one said they were getting a free pass, but you act like he's using his Non-Existent position as a way to bend the rules in his favor.
And you would be surprised how lenient cops are with violators. When I was first born, my father was accidentally speeding on the way home without wearing his seat belt. When a cop pulled him over and told him about his speeding he also asked "Can I ask why you're not wearing your seat belt?" My father replied saying cause he was being a dumb ass. My dad left with a ticket only for the seat belt and let the speeding go that one time.
Face it, people make mistakes, and they don't make mistakes as an excuse to break rules. You can't call someone crooked if they honestly didn't know, or even worse if doesn't do anything that actually contributes to a cause.

That's the most ridiculous logic I've ever heard. "Humans make mistakes"? That doesn't give someone a free pass for breaking the law.
Let's say I parked in that spot. A cop gives me a ticket. Can I say "humans make mistakes"? Can I say "I don't hold a copy of my State Statute, I didn't know I was breaking a violation"?
No. I can't do that. I would get a ticket, same as anyone else would. Including a cop.The cop knew it was illegal, and he did it anyway. Your father had an excuse for speeding. What was the cop's excuse? Getting a Big Gulp?
This was pretty much all the officer could say.
people in here don't understand that its not about the actual ticket itself. but rather what the ticket symbolizes.
