Wow, $45! How many hours did you spend researching all this? And as a follow up, do you honestly think it was worth it? You're not a hero or a rolemodel for doing this, you're just an assclown.

I spend about 2 hours in the whole process. which includes going to the police station to get the ticket and the dispatch records, and then the courthouse to have it signed. And then about 10 minutes of trainwrecking the police officer at the hearing today.

It was 100% worth it in my opinion.
In my own opinion, this is a -blam!- attitude. Cops risk their lives to protect yours. 50 cops died in the tower collapses on 9/11. Thousands of cops have died trying to protect civilians' lives. In fact, even cops who aren't intentionally putting themselves in danger can be targets for deadly crimes JUST BECAUSE they are cops.

I don't get to park illegally because I don't put my life on the line every day to protect people I don't know. But if you ask me, any cop who wants to park in a yellow zone to get a soda from 7-11 is more than welcome to do so without me being an -blam!- about it.
This.

Well done Sir, well done indeed!

My mother who was a cop, showed me a video of real footage of multiple cops being killed in action. Good job, they risk your life to keep you safe and you honestly feel good about screwing one of them over? Wow, pathetic

You are so stupid is ridiculous. There is nothing "crooked" about parking in a no parking spot.

Crooked? Yes, of course. How evil of him. Someone call up Harvey Dent, this Organized Crime Ring of corrupt cops must be put down.

Honestly, this must be a joke. Child, listen, stop trying to defend yourself because clearly you are incapable of it. The only idiot in this thread is yourself, and trust me, it is obvious. So, how about you do as I asked earlier and log off, mommy and daddy wouldn't want you staying up this late.

I'm sure you think you are cool but in reality you are just a jackass who seeks attention. Since you are making other people's life a living hell, I will make yours a living hell. If I find you in real life I will write you up on every little law breaking thing you do. You'll be surprise how many small laws there are they you break every day.

WATCH OUT FUNK! INTERNET TOUGH GUY IS ONTO YOUR -blam!-!

Lol I know right, funny part is what he described is pretty much stalking, which is a criminal offense in Oregon.

If he writes you up on legitimate offenses, there's not much you can do about it.

This is why Funk needs to watch out. If he isn't careful, his life will be ruined.

How are you not following this simple logic?

>cop joins the force, swears to enforce laws
>doesn't enforce laws
>breaks laws

And the OP held him accountable. So I say, well done.

Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.

The really good part of it? Is that if you are having fun while posting well and enjoying your time here, not only is your trust rating improving (and the title as a result), you begin to realize/understand that the REAL reward isn't a title or a colored banner. The real reward is that you're actually enjoying your time here and your interaction with other members of the community. -Recon Number 54

I'll just wait to see if this is true or not.

QFT.

Typical flood response.

Scenario 1) man parks in emergency lane to get soda.

Flood's Response: "WHAT A LAZY SACK OF -blam!-. IF THERE WAS A REEL EMERGENCY HE IS ENDANGERING PEOPLE BY TAKING UP THE EMERGENCIE LAN"

Scenario 2) on duty police officer parks in emergency lane, not responding to an emergency. Man writes ticket.

Flood's Response: "YOU ARE A PATHETIC SACK OF -blam!-. YOU SURE DI STICK IT TO THE MAN YOU WORTHLESS LITTLE SCUM WEASLE"

  • 12.02.2012 7:14 PM PDT

That's impressive. Civilians hardly ever win against cops. I salute you!

The actions of one cop =/= the actions of all cops.

If the man he took to court ran into a burning building and saved somebody's life, or defused a hostage situation without any deaths, or something else suitably heroic, I'd call the OP out for being an asswipe.

Since this appears to be a regular cop who happened to break the law they're supposed to enforce, I'm mentally patting the OP on the back.

Well the officer did lie in court. He should have just owned up to it.

  • 12.02.2012 7:14 PM PDT

He broke a MINOR parking law. How does that show he hasn't enforced laws? Do you know this cop personally? Can you give me proof that he doesn't enforce laws despite breaking a minor violation himself?

If he enforced laws, he would have turned himself in for breaking one.

Oh yeah, the flood will ruin my life. sure.

1) there are only 2 other floodians that live in the same town as me that I am aware of

2) You don't even know who I am.

I'm not very concerned about the floodian rage-nuggets hunting me down.
