I want to finally upgrade from my 4 year old Samsung Gravity.
I am deciding between these three devices.

Samsung Galaxy S3
HTC 8X
Nokia Lumia 810

Does your old phone still send and receive calls?

If so, why replace it?

There's no way to get back experiences you missed.
So start right now today and risk furiousness for bliss.

iPhone. Haven't you heard? They save lives!

One that isn't t-mobile would probably help

Smartphones are tools, not just a phone. Having all that information in your hand can increase productivity.

And OP, I suggest the Nexus 4.

And you're the only person I have ever heard say anything good about TMo. Literally the only one. Of course here if you walk under a tree with them you lose service.

  • 12.02.2012 7:37 PM PDT

What if I told you...

*scoots in closer*

I hate you

The Windows 8 phones are pretty bomb if you have Zune, other than that I would get the Galaxy S3.

  • 12.02.2012 7:37 PM PDT

I would recommend the LG Intuition.

On a more serious note, I would recommend the Nexus 4, because it's a 4.7" screen, 720p screen and stock android. Also it's $345 outright from Google themselves.

I have T-Mobile myself and I have never had any range/service issues. One of the most inexpensive and reliable carriers I could be a part of.

You should know that it entirely depends on where you are and what their service is like in your area. I live in Southern California, and TMo just did a major upgrade in their towers in the area, along with AZ and DC, so I get fantastic service [close to that of VZW 4G which I just came from] almost everywhere. Obviously if you're in the middle of bum--blam!- nowhere, you'll get crappy service.

Small Community, Lots of Fun. We do Halo, Minecraft, and much more.

I have the nokia 900, and its great. So I would recommend the Nokia, unless you want to use a lot of apps and games that are mainstream. Most places don't do Windows Phone apps, but there are enough to cover it.

Woops....T-Mobile doesn't carry the HTC DNA.

I believe they DO however carry the LG/Google Nexus 4. Get that.

Its sluggish and freezes often, no matter what specific phone you get, The market place is FULL of bloatware because it has no quality control, and it has way too many bugs to even consider to be practical.

Project Butter fixed that. There's also the fact that your phones were all running versions of Android riddled with bloatware, OEM apps and overlapping UI's.

Nexus 4. Stock Android. Great price.

I had tmobile for 7 years and never once had a dropped call on my end, never had problems with service (unless I was in the woods lol) and their customer service was always good. Loved every minute with them, just they didn't have the iPhone so I went to Verizon (amazing service but have had a few dropped calls)
