If so what is it like? And is it worth the generally expensive price?

Guys please be serious about this.

in·dif·fer·ence
the fact or state of being indifferent; lack of care or concern and empathy demonstrated by an absence of emotional reactions.

It's more fun without the parachute.

No, but I would love to. I've always wanted to skydive.

About the time frame, does it have to be exact when you release the parachute? Aren't you afraid of it getting stuck or breaking?

Happily married to Fatal_Coin_Vest since July 1st, 2009.

Thank you, Captain K Mart.

I went for my 18th birthday, so last July.

Effing incredible is the only way I can describe it. It's probably unlike anything you've ever experienced before. An enormous rush of adrenaline. Looking down at the earth at the stuff down there, watching it get bigger, looking out to the sides to the horizon... you just can't describe it because there's nothing to compare it to.

I paid $200 for the jump plus $70 for a video, and I think it was totally worth it. I'll be going again sometime, I know that (but no video for me the next time).

Was it easy to get certified? Both the classes themselves and finding the classes? How much did you pay for the classes and for your first set of gear? How old were you when you started getting serious about jumping? I think I want to get certified, I just don't know where and when to start.
