I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

I agree. I often deprive myself of certain things just to make them taste that much better. I have avoided getting a steak for almost 3 months now. Longest I have ever gone lol It's going to be amazing. That is the best, but make sure you get/make a good steak, otherwise you dreams of steak will be turned to nightmares in just a few bites.
Don't worry. I'm a chef at heart. It's what I do. However there is a place where I live that makes the best steaks and I will be going very soon. I was in New York one time, trying to find the restaurant that we had reservations at, instead ended up in some random steakhouse. It was almost empty, but was very nice so we ate there. I decided to splurge for the one time deal of a 125 day aged steak. Other than foie gras there has never been a better thing to meet my palette. The meat practically melted, I am getting hungry just thinking about it...
You will never find better food then in little unknown places. they care so much more about the quality of their food. Sure it's not always the case but it's always worth it when you find them.
Sadly I live in a hipster city and these places get overrun with doucheism Not a lot of places like that in my area either. Though thankfully no hipster restaurants. I don't remember where it was, but my parents had the idea to have use go to some new age restaurant. It all seemed like normal food, but with some gross twist. I only remember the deserts, chocolate that would have been good except for a salty aftertaste, and sorbet that tasted like grass. Never again. Ever. Those are the worst kind of restaurants.
