I am currently stuck on a sleeping schedule where I stay up until 6-7 AM then sleep until 3-4 PM. I get plenty of sleep, I just hate the time frame I am getting it. I am trying right now to fix it by staying up all day and then going to bed at a normal time like 10 or 11 PM. Hopefully this works.

Get a job.

See that's the beauty of working with technology. You can do everything at home on your own time so long as it gets done.

13.72 billion years in the making.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

Absolutely not.

I absolutely despise waking up in the morning. Some nights, I'll get to bed later than other nights, and still wake up far better than nights when I go to bed earlier. I have absolutely no idea what it's dependent on, but it annoys the hell out of me. The simple fact is, I'm not tired when I go to sleep at 10:45 at night.

Sleep? What's that?

I'm satisfied with the amount.

What I'm not satisfied with is that it happens between 3am and midday.

HAHA I have the exact issue. I woke up at 12 AM today. I find it impossible to keep a normal schedule.

Death to rank junkies.

During the week, no. On weekends, I get too much to compensate.

I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"

Yes. It's not like I have anything in my bed that would prevent me from getting sleep.

Ad Infinitum

No. On weekdays, I have full time school and work so I get anywhere from 5 to 6 hours.

On weekends, I tend to over-value my time and try to spend all of it doing something productive, thus limiting my weekend sleep time to 5 to 6 hours.

I'm grumpy and I want to sleep more! Time management 101.

This is now my main account. My former account was xKingGhidorahx. I've been on this site since 2009.

I get 7 hours usually, but I'd prefer to get eight.

The Internet is an empowerment tool that's agnostic; it doesn't care about race, gender, or age.

I could do well with some more.

5-7 hours, not really. i'd much rather a solid 8-9 hours.

I go to sleep at about 7am and generally wake up by noon. It's not much sleep... but it's about all I can do.

I am thinking about doing a all nighter atm. its almost 5am. But I have this idea if I stay up for another 12 hours I could get my schedule back on track. Its my weekend atm so I am ok.

This.

Right now I'm waking up at 3AM and falling asleep at 6PM It was a few hours back about a week ago and its slowly fixing itself.

ooga booga boooh

Not at all.

6 hours is the most I get. Class till 10, 1 hour travel home, time to sleep, then back up at 6. Some days it's more about power naps in the library and on the bus when I can.

Major props to my hommie Sheeef. He made Recon possible for me. Long time recovering emails and passwords. And it was his. lol.

Nope. I'd like to be able to sleep 9+ hours again.

I have just enough time each night to get 4 hours of sleep. I've adapted to this, but I am not satisfied. Can't wait for finals to be over.

"Living to smile, and not to succeed; smiling to inspire happiness, not to give the illusion you are happy; creativity and music to inspire smiling, which in turn inspires happiness; being nice to be happy, not for being perceived a good person."

There just isn't enough time in the day. So many things for me to do, and the sleep factor is usually keeping me from doing them.

So I instead choose to stay up until ungodly hours doing all the things I wish, but then realize that rest is needed and go to bed completely dissatisfied, knowing that waking up at the usual time is going to be hell as always.

To be honest, I love the night and hate the morning, so I'm happier this way. Unfortunately, most of my classes conflict with it.

I like that the night is quiet and less busy, but that's about it.

I love the darkness. It's quiet, calm, and cool. I'm not much of a morning or day person. Every time I've had time off I gradually flip back to the night and am sleeping during the day.

Life?
I have the internet and Doctor Who; i don't need a life.

i like sleeping from early evening (5/6/7) to early morning (2/3/4) as it gives me the best part of the day and the night to do stuff, but unfortunately i can't keep that sleep pattern and have a social life, so i have to do the conventional 11/12 --> 7/8

Yes. I typically get 7.5 a night. 8 if I am tired.

I've got a fan!

I get 3-4 each night except Saturday night, and after doing that for 2.5 years it's plenty.

Nope, but If I slept the amount I wanted, I would spend 7 days as if there were 6.

  • 12.03.2012 6:42 AM PDT

I try to get at least 7 to 8 hours a night, but I like to stay up late and play games with friends. Granted I sleep till 12 which wastes half of my day, but I'm a night person anyways, so whatever.
